I have always heard good reviews about Las Palmas and visited one in the west suburbs prior to coming to Harwood Heights. I had a great experience there so I was happy to see a Groupon for this location. We visited tonight around 9pm so it was nice and quiet and baseball was on TV. Everyone there was very friendly and service was fast. The chips and salsa were very good and so was the horchata. Our burritos came out almost too quickly and mine wasnt very hot or filled with too much. I ordered pork and my friend ordered steak. He had ordered no tomato but it came with so he sent it back for a new one. It looked like they re - assembled the steak one and quick pressed it on the grill to heat it up. My pork burrito was mostly tortilla with some burnt pork?? bits that was quite flavorless and dry. I kept pouring the salsa and sour cream to moisten it. My friend told me his had no flavor either after we had left but said he didnt want to complain. I do understand it was after dinner time, Im just surprised that TBK tastes better than this.

Website says they close at 10p got there at 9p doors were open but once inside young girl behind the bar tells me that there closed I asked to speak to a manager and she tells me that they are not available and tells me and my family to leave. Out of all the years Ive been coming here Ive never had a problem till tonight I may not come back again after being treated like that. And I will call the management in the mourning.

I had a horrible experience. Ordered trio fajita and tacos. They forgot my guac, limes, and stuff for tacos. I called them and was told there is nothing they could do. I would not recommend this place. The food didnt even taste that great for what i paid for it. Recommend that you find another Mexican place to eat. This place is not worth all the money you pay for your food.

This restaurant serves hypertension on a plate. I ordered a combo platter and for the most part, they dropped a salt shaker in most of the food! The only thing that was palatable was the rice and a soft shell taco. Despite the above, they provide a salt shaker at the tables too. Enjoy your meal and then go see your doctor. The decor is nice, though.

I always read some of the bad reviews and hope the consumer can weed out the horrible ones with unreasonable expectations. This is a restaurant I would definitely visit if youre looking for great food good atmosphere and good service. This is a family run restaurant that makes you feel just like that like your family.

Went there last night. The beef tacos were very bland. No flavor. In one the tacos there was this huge LEAF I bit into. I though it was bug. My boyfriend had one in his enchalida. Pretty gross. I hope the owner read this. We will NEVER go back and not recommend to anyone to eat there.

I was many times and every time service and food were worse . And cant be better service because restaurant charge tax and 18 % !!!!! graduity fee on each receipt and of course TIP is more then welcome but who leaves next 20 % for Waitres .TOO MUCH fees !!

Order food thru Uber eats and both of the meals were a mess. Foodwas horrendous. The meat in the enchiladas was between gray and black, didnt trust eating it. The chicken and the tortilla soups were also quite bad. Everyrhing had such a weird.

I have been trying to find a really good Mexican Restaurant with really good food AND Margaritas & this place is a HIT! Service was excellent and fast. The decor was nice and the restaurant was clean! Highly recommend this place!

The water was the best part I had the Chickens soup and it tasted like a salt mine one piece of dry chicken and no vegetables just broth.....next time ill just have the water !
