While theres always an "off" smell to this place (maybe its the cheese, I dont know), the food is great and the atmosphere is welcoming. They have tables, high tops, and even a lounge-style seating area to choose from. Their menu selection is good and the food doesnt take too long to come out. Its all definitely freshly made, sometimes even too hot to eat or touch right away. A great local spot.

Great food, I going the for the best gelato in Chicago, Im not sure how many might know this but the same owners of Vero in the all Marianos is the owner for massa, and that cafe place is like there baby. Believe me its worth it I love this place. Been going there for over 5 years.

This is some of the best gelato Ive ever had! They have a bunch of flavors to choose from, and all at great prices. I did not have the pleasure of ordering any of their food, but they looked very good too. Im hoping to come back for lunch of dinner in the future.

We had a meatball parm sub, 2 orders of gnocchi and tortelloni Tuscana. All were very tasty, good-size portions and reasonable prices. Although we were all full, we could not resist ordering gelato. YUM! Thanks fellow Yelpers for this recommendation!

The espresso and Gelato are AMAZING. I suggest not coming here Id you are in hurry though, it took quite a while to get our drinks even though there was no one ahead of us. I thought they were worth the wait!
