Rose Garden does not care about any of their clients. I ordered a meal from them and when I went to eat the salad I found mud (there was a big chunk and a bunch of little flakes through out), I also found pieces of croutons (I told them no croutons because Im severely allergic to them). I brought this to the “owners” attention. She told me that it happens and there was nothing wrong with it and gave me $2 and offered me a dessert. When I told her that I was allergic to the dessert (I can get severely sick) she told me too bad. When I asked her if there was anything else that she could do instead she said no. So I told her that I would take the dessert to give to my co-worker that had picked up the food and she refused to give it to me. She then proceeded to raise her voice at me and when I responded in kind she threatened to call the cops. I am paying for her to prepare my food and she can’t even clean it and she proceeds to offer something that will make me sick and then refuse to give it to me so that I can offer it to my coworker as an apology for having to get involved in this mess.

I was there for lunch twice this past summer and food was really good! So, in September I went there for breakfast and food was cold, eggs - meh, and coffee was weak. Ok, maybe breakfast is not their thing, so on Dec 28, 2011 I went there for my birthday lunch. We started with lentil soup, which was lukewarm and tasted tinny. My husband ordered bacon cheeseburger, and got a barely warm sliver of meat, on mushy grocery store bun - and no bacon. I ordered a mushroom burger. Call me naive, but I expected nice, fresh sauteed mushrooms to be a centerpiece of this burger. Instead, I got the same sliver of cold beef patty with - I kid you not - a teaspoonful of CANNED, room temperature mushrooms, and the same soft, bun. The only good thing I can say about this meal, is that the fries were hot. Thats twice we had a lousy meal there, and well never go there again. What a waste of calories, time and money. Not worth it!

I got charged over $9 for their 2x2x2. Two pieces of bacon, two thin pieces of french toast, two eggs. The food volume to price ratio was horrible. There just was not enough food for the price. The sheer weight of the food almost weighed as much as the container and the plastic bag put together. On the opposite side of town Fatt Mustard would get you way more food, like a ham and cheese omelette, hash browns and toast for the same price but wayyyy more food. Their advantage is their being open early on weekends. Just be wary of what you order. Maybe for the same price point a different item on their menu offers more food? Itll be expensive to try and figure that out.

One word.... QUALITY food, service, ambiance, cleanliness, staff. Even the customers. The eggs Benedict were the best I have eaten. The hollandaise, smooth creamy just the right amount of tart, eggs were cooked right walking not runny, the muffin was crisp, and the tomatoes tasted like the came off the vine yesterday, I substituted them for the hash browns, great decision. It was perfection on a plate. Priced right, with great coffee too. Served by a top notch server named Susan. Who could ask for more. This is the benchmark of a well run establishment. Ill be back for sure.

My family and I stopped in on 6/30/16 for dinner. After ordering our drinks I ask the waitress what she would recommend. As she started to make her recommendation, Chris ( One of the owners) made a negative comment towards her that we were able to hear. This is not only disrespectful to her but also to her customers. The food is abundant but no different then other Greek restaurants in the area. (Soup was over salted). It is only because of the outstanding service that I gave three stars.

We travel to Schaumburg several times a year for business. Often arriving in town late and not wanting fast food, we stopped in at the Rose Garden to have dinner before heading on to Schaumburg. i cannot praise the service and friendliness enough. Its like it used to be growning up with the family diners! The food was excellent - like homemade. The Greek potatoes, soup and dinner was excellent. Three more visits during this trip and we will be back on our next business trip!

Their servers are very attentive. We like Meghan the best. Their ranch dressing is homemade without buttermilk which is my favorite. Our kiddos love their chicken fingers & fries. Their patty melts are delicious. As are their triple decker turkey sandwiches. Their breakfasts are pretty tasty too. My hubby had their Fishermans plater he said it was ok. Definitely somewhere well go back to.

Would put Zero stars if possible. The only two times Ive personally ordered from this place I ordered the tuna melt both times. First time I found plastic wrap in my sandwich. I try to be fair and order again and found an actual chuck of plastic in the sandwich. They consistently screw up orders, if you order a salad with no onion, you can bet there will be onions on it.

I know you shouldnt expect much from a diner/cafe, but everything in this place was grimey. On top of that, our waitress was very rude. The food was O.K, but keep in mind its hard to mess up a BLT and chicken noodle soup. Im giving this place 2 stars, based soley on the fact that the food wasnt terrible.I did not enjoy my experience here and will not be returning.

Horrible food. Daughter got an (overpriced) grilled cheese, it was just a piece of cheese on slightly toasted bread. Waiter came once to get our order then a different one came saying that they lost our order. The first one never went to the kitchen. server talked to all other people (regulars) but us. I cant see how there can be regulars because everything sucks.

Went for breakfast and ordered the meat lovers omelette with a side of pancakes. Food arrived quickly, was hot and tasty. The coffee was way too weak for my taste which was a disappointment as it was worse than what you would get at McDonalds. Besides the coffee, it was good.

I had the 1/2 Greek style chicken and my husband had the Greek style perch. Both were very delicious. As weekly specials they came with soup ( very tasty) or salad, choice of potatoes or pasta and a small dessert at a very economical price. Service was also very good.

Stick to the cold cut sandwiches and soup and you may like this place. Anything they have to cook at the menu is aweful. Pasta dishes taste like canned Chef Boy R Dee (sp?) Service is decent and price is well.. lets just say you get what you pay for.

I order online a omelette with one extra ingredients then arrive to the location for them to tell me prices are subject to change. Instead of 7 you are charging 11. Update your system im very unhappy.
