We found this place via Yelp when we were in town, and it was a delicious hit by all in our group! The wait staff was friendly and quick to serve and refill drinks. I had a really hard time choosing when looking at the menu because everything looked so good (granted, Im a sucker for a Mexican breakfast of any sort). When the menu says that a particular dish uses 2 or 3 eggs, youve been warned that it seriously looks like 5 or 6 (portions are very large). We all walked out stuffed and very happy!

Found the restaurant in Fridays Tribune July 7 and decided to give it a try. We like to try small local restaurants on Sundays. My wife had the Mexican Eggs platter and I had no the Chili skillet. Both were very good and we took half of each home. service was attentive and friendly. The place is bigger than it looks. Has about 10 to 12 stools at the counter, plus a big room in the back, about 12/15 tables. Will be going back, a lot of skillets and omelets to choose from.

Cherry Pit is a local gem. Owned by a great group of people who have worked in this location for many years and the service and food quality is what you would expect from a local diner. They also have a great spin on a lot of authentic mexican dishes and always keep it fresh with exciting new variants on the menu. Well worth a visit if you are in the area, we love sitting at the counter and watching the cook work his magic. Great for kids too.

I came into the Cherry Pit for the first time and it was great! I LOVED the crunchy french toast and the hashbrowns. The staff was really friendly and I loved the old American diner feel. My experience was phenomenal! I would recommend this place to everyone especially the crunchy french toast!

Great breakfast food. Only complaint I have is the American cheese on the omelette. It was literally 2 pieces just thrown on top of it. I would maybe recommend for them to slice it up and mix it IN. Other than that everything was great. Their ice tea/lemonade mix was incredible.

Fast service and good food! I got the omlette with their signature potatoes. Pretty good. Id go back again. It was a touch crowded since the place is popular, but theres counter seating that a person can fit into if youre on your own.

The food was amazing!!! I somehow never noticed the cafe until a friend found it looking for new places to try. Its easy to miss, but the food is delicious! It has an old diner vibe to it, with counter seating and all.

This place is a gem. The food is phenomenal. Had the enchilada skillet, chorizo skillet, and turkey chili cheese fries. I recommend all and will be back to try more.
