Please join me in boycotting HAMMERHEAD COFFEE and LATITUDE APARTMENTS. My son Nate was there this afternoon to catch a little study time while he was waiting for me to get off work. He walked in the door at 2:15pm, purchased a coffee and began to study. When he went to leave at 3:05 his car was gone. Towed at 3pm. Parked in the designated HAMMERHEAD spot. He even attempted to pay to machine as he walked in for extra time past the 15min time listed- but the machine was not working. A repair man was at the machine when he came out at 3:05. When we told the Latitude staff this she said he should have looked for another machine to pay at. I honestly do not know how Latitide apartments actually had time to get a tow truck there in such a short amount of time. Guess it would have been too much to ask in the coffee shop who was parked there before towing? Thank You Hammerhead Coffee for the $195 cup of coffee and the added stress during finals week!!

The location of Hammerhead rest in a good area within walking distance from the outer wedges of the campus. It have a modern tone interior with a lot of metal and wood furniture. The a lot of sitting areas, but the best are the bars by the window if you are in need of outlet. The coffee does close, but the lounge area remains up due to the house units it is connected too.The coffee is good. I had one of the Columbian Chemx pour over. It had a rich tart taste. The pour was not provided in pot to me; rather it was give in two mugs. That means a small amount coffee goes to waste. I was surprised to see Triva as a sweeter option. Most places only offer the standard spendia/ suger chooses. Im starting to get use to this. Over all its a good place for a cup of joe while studying.

This is probably the best tasting coffee in the area. They offer V60 and chemex with a variety of beans. The reason it is only 3 stars is because the service is rather slow and theyre not equipped to make more than one pour over at a time. This is problematic for groups that order coffee or just having a line of people. The inefficiency is frustrating and inconvenient for customers. Otherwise the coffee is good and the atmosphere is perfect.

Drove by this place a while back and had no clue what it was. Decided to look in to it, and went before work this morning. Got a latte and the Supernova toast. Both were delicious. The atmosphere is great, and the barista was very friendly. I like seeing more places with pour-over and single origin coffee options. It is slightly out of my way and less convenient to get to from my work, but definitely worth a try!

To start, this location has pretty unfriendly & unintentional staff. Every time I have stopped by the staff just doesnt seem to care about making coffee well. I thought well of you, Hammerhead. With a unique space that feels very modernized and distinct branding, it all falls short when the espresso is mediocre compared to other locations and the staff are just simply uninviting and unintentional.

Amazing place! A daily frequenter! The environment is perfect for small talk, reading, or even doing some work. The food selection pairs well with their coffee. The care of making the coffee shows this is not a chain coffee shop, they work on every drink to perfection. Customer service is excellent and they are always open to suggestions for new ideas.

Great atmosphere and fairly interesting menu, at least compared to other coffee shops. Its never really busy though, which makes for a slightly unsettling feeling; I always expect more people to be there. Otherwise, friendly staff, very well kept and clean. Bit expensive, though. What coffee shop isnt, though?

Nice place, not so cool costumer service. They got my order wrong and preceded to argue rather than just apologize. I really didnt care about the mistake, it was just the attitude of the barista, I wanted understanding and a simple sorry. Coffee is good, but its good elsewhere with better service.

Coffee was tasty, free chocolate at the counter, good recognizable Indie music playing in the background (the shins, spoon, radiohead), and diverse patron group. Only reason I didnt give it 5 stars was because it kinda lacked that cozy coffee shop feeling I desire.

Awesome coffee, awesome tea! Probably the best Ive had in the C-U area. Relaxed environment and friendly staff too. Only negative is the location since its just north of University but its definitely worth the walk if youre already north of Green.

Really good coffee and good tea, also! Right now they have probably the best pumpkin spice flavored stuff Ive ever had, honestly. Great atmosphere for both socializing and studying. Cool decor and furniture. Definitely recommend trying it out.

Excellent coffeehouse. Hammerhead is comfortable and very clean. The atmosphere has a semi-industrial, modern vibe. Some furniture has subtle music references, such as amplifiers turned into coffee tables, etc. Its pretty neat.

Hammerhead coffee is an excellent place to do just about anything. There are huge windows, ample seating, outlets everywhere, and good ambience. I come here almost every day to get work done, and it never disappoints.
