The warm goat cheese salad was phenomenal. The bacon wrapped scallops were tiny, but good. We ordered the strip steak, both kinds (mole and the cheese kind) and they were definitely not strips. Sirloins most likely, they werent tough, had okay flavor, but definitely disappointing. The beef "teepee" was over marinated, couldnt even taste the beef. The scalloped potatoes were excellent as well as the green beans. Overall slightly disappointed in steak, and beef, but will be coming back to try some other menu items.

Dinner a couple nights after they opened up after the January 16 flood. Great service and awesome food. Very hard to believe they had been closed a couple of weeks and just opened back up,in a good way. They bacon wrapped scallops were excellent and dinner was the white pizza with clams, also a very very good. A nice laid back atmosphere with a excellent selection of martinis. Going with a martini named for a Bond villain is always a win. Hopefully Ill get back here again and sample more of the menu.

This is one of the BEST restaurants in town!! Easily the best food in town. If you want something unusual but classy this is the place. Best drinks around too...might cost 5$ but you will have 5$ worth of liquor, not just juice like other places. Totally worth going to if you want something thats not your typical Alton dive bar.

We were in Alton to go on a ghost tour (dont judge us!), wanted something to eat first, so cam here not knowing what to expect. It turned out to be fabulous - 5 of us had varied foods and we all thought them spectacular. Well worth the visit, and much better than the tour - we are looking forward to coming back

One of my favorite places to go to in Alton. The food menu is smaller, but what they do serve is fresh and very good. The inside is clean, I love the atmosphere, and they can make just about any kind of drink you want. Love just coming here and having a drink with a few people! Outside seating is nice, too.

Great martini selection, as well as select craft beers and a small menu. Overall Bossanova has a really good vibe. I really like the large window in front that can make it open air, as well as the open booth that stretches nearly the entire length of the establishment. Martinis are about $9 on average.

Ive ate and it was above average and the service is wonderful! The reason Im writing this review though, is the selection of single malt Scotch they have is impressive and the same person owns Elijah Ps a block a way and the selection there is also wonderful! (Better).

Food is always good, but the personal service is what makes the experience special. Jill (bartender) engages everyone in pleasant conversation while she serves up your fav drink. Youll want to be a regular!
