Perkins Restaurant & Bakery 1564 Blue Lakes Blvd N, Twin Falls, ID 83301 Today’s breakfast was at Perkin’s. There were seven of us that showed up. We all had the Country Biscuit Breakfast that came with a big biscuit with sausage gravy, two eggs, hashbrowns or country potatoes and choice of bacon or sausage for $8.25. We all were very impressed with the biscuits. They were light and fluffy and tasted homemade. The sausage gravy was very good with chunks of link sausage in it. All in all the food was very good. But the best part was the service and the free huge pieces of peanut butter pie, chocolate silk pie and banana cream pie that the manager brought out for us to try. When we walked in we were immediately greeted, and because we had called earlier to let them know we were coming, they had tables set up for us. Our server was very friendly, we received our orders fast, and the manager came over to make sure we were happy with our meal, and he definitely scored points for the pie. We have given Perkin’s a rating of 8.5. Elevation 486 is still in the lead at 9. Have to mention that we had friends from our Shuffle Inn days there today, and had great conversation. It was nice reminiscing with them. Next week we will meet at IHOP at 10:30. We rate these places on a score of 1 to 10. One being food poisoning, and ten being so excellent that we want a second plate.

We went to Perkins a few weeks ago, and the management was very nice, the servers were great, and the food was a mixture of awful and great. The potato pancakes and the pumpkin pancakes were great, but the regular pancakes were smaller than other local places and tasted like reheated bisquick pancakes, the eggs were greatly overcooked, and there was a huge piece of eggshell in my meal. I showed it to the server, who said shed show it to the cook. He later came out and glared at me as I was paying my bill. IHOP is a little more expensive, but the quality is by far much better.

Waitress kept complaining about how tired she was and was very rude from the start. She Shat on our dreams of driving to see the eclipse, never refilled our drinks and when we requested our refill she told us no, then bet no one had ever said no to us before. Manager was nice enough, but the whole meal was weird because of the waitress. So this ones for you, tired, middle-aged Idahowen waitress. I hope you take a nap and remember how to be a pleasant human, if you can. Edit: We saw the eclipse without a hitch, too.

Was not impressed with this restaurant. I ordered chicken and broccoli spaghetti, and though it came out reasonable fast, the noodles were mushy and stuck in the shape of whatever container it was previously in. The service was worse than the food. My server never gave me her name, and while paying for my meal she just handed me my receipt to sign and walked away. When I said thank you I got a flippant ya as she walked into the kitchen. Not impressed, and definitely not going back.

The food was good and the service was sub-par. Our waitress was new and ended up messing up our order which wasnt the issue, she apologized and tried her best to remedy the situation with great customer service. It was the other wait staff throwing her under the bus and not helping to resolve the issue that rubbed us the wrong way. Even worse was when the manager yelled at the poor girl in clear ear shot without coming up and apologizing either.

There is literally nothing quite like this restaurant. The day was beautiful when we dined here and the view over the canyon was spectacular. It was a combination of great food, good conversation, and the most amazing view of the canyon. The location was masterfully selected for an astonishing dining experience. I look forward to returning to Elevation 486 when I visit from Seattle next time

Due to weather issues I had an unplanned stopover in Twin Falls. Not wanting to drive further, I walked across the parking lot from the Shilo Inn and had dinner at Perkins. The wait staff was pleasant and efficient. The menu offered a reasonable selection and the food was good, with adequate portions. All in all, a good place to come in out of the storm.

Honestly every time I come the service is always bad. The waiters are rude and very quiet. The food quality is poor and not worth the price. The pancakes were cold and soggy and the eggs were extremely dry and flavorless. Defiantly not coming back any time soon

The waitress, Jesse, was darling and helpful. The manager, Ian, (wrong spelling) was So patient...changed our order from take-out to eat in, reheated coffee and pot pie, and smiled thru all our changes! 3 cheers for Twin Falls, Idaho Perkins!

Yall close at 10:00pm??? Whats with that? Ive rolled into town in other states at 2:00am starving and the only place open was Perkins but its the best choice as far as Im concerned. Just disappointed this one is only open till ten.

Perkins is our go to cafe in Twin. Service is always great, food is good with good portions. Dennys, Sharis, IHOP cannot compete. This place has come along way since Tony took over. ❤ this place!
