My first experience at this location was superb. It did not take long to get seated with me and my girlfriend despite being busy. Server approached us shortly after sitting for drinks. Upon coming back with our drinks, Janacia took our appetizer and entree orders. It did not take long to receive our appetizers and was happy about that. Now the following situation is bound to be received differently from various customers, but overall I was completely satisfied. So after sitting around a while wondering when our dinner was going to come in, Janacia came over and explained to us that there was a mix up in the kitchen and our order was on its way shortly while apologizing for the error. As soon as the manager, Ronnie, found out he approached us to apologize as well accepting the blunder that was made. Having a manager come up so promptly, apologizing, and accepting responsibility for the error is something that I greatly appreciate. It was not long after being notified about the mix up that my girlfriend and I received our food. It was delicious! The quality of the food and the menu was definitely great. The atmosphere was fun to dine in too. Ronnie also approached us later to notify us that he helped us with the bill as an extended apology. The way management handled the mix up is definitely what helped contribute to this experience which is why I rate it 5 stars. Other that that, great food, atmosphere, servers, and hosts. While I may not be local, my girlfriend is and you can count on us returning at a later time. Thank you so much Ronnie and Jamacia!

First time at MM. I ordered a salad. My tomatoes had something white on them, that the manager said may be feta cheese, which I did not order. The lettuce "juice" under the salad was a mustard/greenish color, and the mushrooms did not seem fresh - 3 ingredients - all seem like they may have come off someone elses plate. They took so long to bring the replacement salad (I had to go get it because it was sitting on the counter in front of the manager who was engaged in conversation with the person behind the counter - they were both talking over my salad - so gross). I decided to order a cheese pizza. I honestly think the waitress forgot I ordered pizza because it took much longer than the pizza my guest ordered. When they brought it the box was so filthy it was embarrassing - I had the waitress bring me a to-go box. The manager did not apologize, and did not seem to care at all - so we paid our bill and left. I will not go back to this location.

I love Mellow Mushroom Pizza. Its the best with its spring water dough thats light and fluffy, good enough to eat on its own. They have a great variety of toppings and options for gluten free, dairy free, and vegan. Also, great appetizers, salads, hoagies, and beer selection. As much as I love the pizza at any location, the service at the Northlake/Tucker one can be spotty. One time, about a year ago now, I went for dinner and I waited forever for my pizza, which was raw in the middle. I was starving so of course I started eating before I realized it was raw. The manager or whoever was in charge took the pizza and put it in the oven whole I had to wait. I would have preferred to get me a new pizza and made it to go, as by this point, my fiance was already done with his meal and we wanted to get out of there. However, I went to lunch there just yesterday and the did and service was perfectly fine.

the issues: 1. Twice weve had inadequate servers. Both of them were not quick with refills (I had to ask), and both, coincidentally, charged us for extra esperanza, and one of them had the nerve to charge us for extra tomatoes on a salad (see next point). When I spend 40 or 50 bucks at Mellow Mushroom, I expect not to be nickeled and dimed like that. 2. Chintzy with toppings on salad and pizza. Weve had to ask for more toppings, once on an emabarrassing House Special, and multiple times on tomatoes for salads and multiple times when I got garlic as a topping. I KNOW from years of experience what to expect from Mellow Mushroom, it wasnt us being too demanding. My other usual Shrume, the Brookhaven location, typically has better adorned pizzas and salads.

Terrible customer service and wait. They were under half full, but it took 10 before the hostess decides to come and seat us. There werent anyone else waiting. She did the same thing with two other groups while we were there and the managers never said anything to her so I assume it was acceptable, even though she wasnt doing anything else. We were at the bar and ordered drinks and hoagies. 35 mins and they still hadnt started our sandwiches. The bartender finally said something to the kitchen and they started on our sandwiches, but we were tired of waiting so we left and went to Jasons Deli. I love their pizzas and hoagies, but this place has terrible customer service.

came from there my mom baby and I came in because we love your pizza. Waited 10 min before a someone elses got seated next to us and a server greets them takes their drink order then passes us without a word. Next another server passes us with food to the table behind us. Sees us and walks past us again to the table next to us and takes their food order and walks away. Dont know what we did but my baby was quite and we werent on our phone so we got up and went to Hudsons bar and grill super nice people and good food there! We wont be back to mellow mushroom rather order dominos

Slowest kitchen ever (waitress Mackenzie was a sweetheart) -- got there at lunchtime -- 12:05 -- only 3 booths with people were there... yet we still waited 40 minutes for food. Friends ordered a full pizza, I ordered just a slice. It takes approx. 16 minutes to make and bake a pizza...Slice was inadequate at best -- sent it back. Manager offered no solution. except to say, OH, sorry. Miserable experience as usual -- 3rd time was NOT the charm -- never going back

Still sitting here waiting on food. Been here 40minutes and no food yet. After 30 minutes go by the waitress comes over and says they messed up on your first calzonebut my manager will come over to talk to you and he is gonna take care of your order. My break is over now I just wanted to eat something. Worst experience ever. Never coming back. Manager never came over to talk to me either. Very disappointed!!!!

Pizza is delicious. Great place for groups. Trivia night here is always packed. Dont get Togo orders from here. It will take an hour longer than they say. Other than that, its a great pizza place. Waiters always look busy and have a smile on their face. No outdoor seating but they have a patio. Its usually pretty loud in here. So dont come if youre looking for a romantic quiet night with your SO.

Most Mellow Mushroom places are hit and miss because they are independently owned. This one is decent. Good service, consistent food quality, but hit and miss during lunch hours. If theyre busy, things dont get handled as well. They do have good lunch specials for the budget minded like $2 slices or 2 slices for $3. So you can eat for under $5 for fresh baked pizza at lunch time.
