This is a great little cafe. Contrary to a previous review with its unnecessary pejorative remarks, the food is quite good. While a few things may be pre-made, most are not. Their sandwiches are great, their pasta salad is awesome, their soups are excellent, and their breakfast is just right. They also have a good variety of desserts (though since it is a "mom and pop" place, they are not changed out daily like corporate joints can afford to do). The coffee is excellent and they have a good variety (4 each day but switch the days coffees out). The owners are a local family, which automatically makes me want to go there instead of some corporate chain, and they really get to know and care about their customers. It is a perfect example of a great little "mom and pop" place. My wife and I are there weekly at least, as are many of their other customers. The busiest times are weekday lunches because lots of locals make that their weekly meeting place. Late afternoons and evenings are more quiet, as well as Saturdays and Sundays.

fantastic food, great prices. My boyfriend and i come in at least a couple times a month, sometimes more. We always get plain toasted bagels with cream cheese, capers, and lox [brined salmon], sometimes he gets a white mocha, sometimes i get bubble tea. The price is always excellent, specially given the quality, and our bagels are ALWAYs perfect, ive been making my own lox at home for months now and i still crave coming to Cafe au Lait and getting a bagel sandwhich. Also, for Pokemon Go enthusiasts, there is a pokemon Gym across the road a the library, and there are often many pokemon randomly spawning in the vicinity of the cafe despite NO pokestop, i believe its because of the school nearby feeding into the cell phone usage in the area, which causes the Pokemon Go servers to spawn more pokemon! A quaint, delicious cafe. Good salads, sandwiches and coffee- make this little hole in the wall cafe a perfect little spot to meet up for a lunch date. I went with their petite spinach berry salad with low fat (homemade) raspberry vinaigrette dressing that came with strawberries, cranberries, pecans and goat cheese. My darling husband went with their chicken salad sandwich and pasta salad. Everything was delicious but what stood out the most was their fresh coffee. If you are ever passing through Roswell- even if its just for coffee, make sure you stop by Cafe Au-Lait. Bon appétit my friends!

GF and I went for a nice late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich with onion rings and hot chocolate, and she ordered eggs with sausage and an english muffin and a cafe au lait. All were delicious, especially the coffee and hot chocolate, which arrived in big friendly mugs. The cafe itself is a cozy place with comfy couches and a warm atmosphere, and the people are welcoming and happy. Definitely recommend. :)

Good food and drinks, topped off with fantastic service. If you want to teach your kids what good customer service is, take them to this cafe. Also, youll notice the health inspection score proudly showing their 100A score. Theyve got a drive-through if you need to be quick on your way to work. I like to take the family here for a sit down breakfast on the weekend.

This is a favorite place to meet a colleague or to get a little work done away from my home office. Lots of room to spread out, fast, reliable WiFi, the coffee and food are good and the owners are very friendly. I find it much more conducive to working or meeting than at a typical Starbucks.

Great go-to spot for breakfast, surprisingly...since its a coffee shop. They have a basic bacon and egg breakfast special for around $6. The atmosphere is comfortable and they are eager to please. I come here often for a quick and cheap breakfast.
