We finally went to try it out last night. We had heard and read many comments both pro and con but needed to check it out ourselves. This by far was the best dining experience that we have had close to Big Canoe!! We shared 3 appetizers....the pate, crawfish fritters and delicious rolls with soft butter. All were amazing and had depth of flavor as well as being hot temperature (not the pate) and the portion sizes were perfect for sharing. We had beef short ribs that were tender and delicious and the trout stuffed with crabmeat and the trinity....yum! The cocktails were delicious and the wine list was quite extensive. Our server was excellent and read well the pacing we desired for our dinner. We definitely thought the price was quite reasonable for the wonderful meal that we had! We will be back soon and often!!!

Just had dinner with my wife at Sourwood Cafe. The food is amazing! My wife had the stuffed trout; which is local and I had their Fried Chicken, it is crispy and very moist and juicy! The Smores cheesecake is amazing, everything on the menu is made from scratch and ingredients are super fresh! Service is excellent, very knowledgeable and detail oriented. Excellent, diverse and eclectic wine list that as a Sommelier I can really appreciate. Their signature cocktails list has really fun and excellent cocktails. If you live Atlanta and suburbs you need to go have dinner at Sourwood!!
