***Well, tried them 3 times so far and it appears the first was definitely the best. Attempt #2 they were very crowded and ordered take-out French Dips. Both were cold and unedible. I talked my wife into giving them another shot and we dined in the restaurant. Again, they were very crowded (good to see for a new business), but we ended up leaving and walking out because our waiter was no where to be found and the order was messed up. We ended up only getting 2 of our 4 meals and split them and paid/left (last time about a month ago) Maybe well try again in a few months after they settle into a routine, but it will be tough to convince my wife to try again. ************************************************************************ Brought my parents to the new little diner around the corner. This place is great! Awesome food, good atmosphere and inexpensive prices. Id highly recommend them and actually just ordered take-out from them tonight. Thanks and hope your business does great! Now if you were only open for breakfast :-)

Me and my wife went out to dinner tonight with her youngest son and his girlfriend and we met up at the West Cobb Diner. None of us have ever eaten here before so we didnt really know what to expect. The Diner is located at The Pointe At West Cobb at 3451 Barrett Parkway #200 Marietta Ga. Its a nice and clean looking place with a bar an outside patio and is relatively inexpensive the crowd tonight was a mix of 20s to 50s age people. Now we decided to start our dinner off with Fried Pickles and Baked Bier the Fried Pickles were Good but the Baked Bier was Not Good. So we moved on to dinner I had the Chicken Liver and Vidalia Onion Gravy Plate my wife and her son had the Chicken Fried Steak and Vidalia Onion Gravy Plates and his girlfriend had a Ruben Sandwich with Fries. The Food was Edible but Not Very Good! The Servers were Pleasant but the wait for the food took Longer than it should have. And as for me and my family we wont be coming back and thats why I gave the West Cobb Diner one star.

West Cobb has a true place for excellent food at a great price. Having enjoyed the entire menu and daily specials, I can only say that this establishment has given the Marietta and surrounding area a place to truly brag about. The entire staff, from the greeters at the door to your servers and kitchen chefs are pleasant and helpful and will do everything possible to provide a dining experience par none. Dont see exactly what you want on the menu? A simple request will bring to your table a scrumptious delight that is surely to tantalize your taste buds. Not sure what they are having tonight? Friend them on Facebook and you will receive a daily menu of their special offerings right down to the soup of the day. Still not happy? Ask for Loren, and the West Cobb Diner will go that extra mile to ensure your dining experience is both pleasant, enjoyable, and will bring you back to a friendly environment from which many meals will become cherished memories.

I come here a lot and usually love it but the other night I was turned down because of my ID. I am 23 years old and my ID says UNDER 21 Until 01-15-2009 and is legally valid until 2013. Never had any problems with this anywhere in Georgia and especially not at this place. So me and my girlfriend had a long day and decide to go get a drink and some comfort food. Unfortunately West Cobb Diner decided to essential make up a reason on why my ID isnt valid. Pretty much ruined our night considering we only go out to eat about once every couple weeks. I love the food here but after the experience I had I just cant justify giving them money. I guess next time I will bring my passport too in case they decide to arbitrarily refuse me service.

Have been eating here for years and we were very disappointed yesterday. Two of us ordered the salmon and it was so coated in the salt mixture that we thought it was blackened, turns in was just over salted. One of us ordered the snapper and it was very chewy sitting in so much oil that had separated from the sauce, this dish use to have shrimp on top also and it didnt. Another ordered the pork chop and it was just like the salmon , covered in the salt mixture. When we mentioned to a friend that we were let down he also said he had a similar experience last time he went. Not sure if well go back, too bad because we use to love it, but all of our dishes had issues.

Waited a while to be seated but that was to be expected. It was when I had to repeat myself to the waitress 3 times to get my drink order that I started to be annoyed. When our brie and crackers arrived she left it on the table and rushed off. We had no flatware at all and couldnt catch the eye of ANY waitress or hostess. My wife eventually had to go to the bar and ask. When my steak arrived it was seasoned beautifully but was very fatty and gristly - also overcooked. My potatoes were just a hair short of completely raw. The wifes meal was tasty and well cooked - the reason Im not rating this lower.

Everyone I know loves this place, but I am not as impressed. The food portions are huge, so it is a good option if you are hungry. They dropped my favorite salad dressing, which dulled my enthusiasm for the large salads they serve, but I still enjoy the Mimis Salad. It is a very popular place with the church crowd, so expect a wait if you come in for lunch on a Sunday. It can also be a little noisy during crowded times, so if you have someone in your group who is hard of hearing, you may want to strategically place them at the table to make it easier for them to participate in conversations.

Ive been here several times and have never been unhappy with the service or the food. Its been an excellent experience each time and Im really glad I found this place. They have items that are much healthier than most places around and the cooks really seem to have a good handle on making excellent food. I really suggest their Salmon. Im not normally a fan of salmon, but it is excellent here! This is the first place since moving here that I actually want to continue coming back to.

I can only say that if you want to try it, get there early for dinner or prepare to wait. I cant say how lunchtime is. The crowd might also have been because it was first of the month and a Friday night. The staff were pleasant, and the food was pretty good. We only shared appetizers, so that is all I can speak to. I cant say that you really get that diner "vibe", but, I would go back and try something in addition to apps, given the opportunity.
