Apparently this is the first Chick-Fil-A. The building houses a standard Chick-Fil-A as well as a diner style restaurant under the same roof. Much of the diners offerings are identical to the Chick-Fil-A restaurant. They offer a choice of sides, waffle fries being one. I ordered a baked potato and macaroni and cheese. The potato was very small, but good, and I liked the macaroni and cheese. I ordered a cheeseburger, mostly to be able to tell people I got a cheeseburger from Chick-Fil-A. It was OK, on par with Dennys or IHOP. The burger with two sides was $12.99 -- a bit steep for the quality of the burger, I thought. It is a fine place to go, but I will only give it 3 stars because I think the diner is overpriced and does not offer much different from the standard fast-food restaurants offerings.

I am very upset with the Original Chick Fil A in Hapeville. I placed my order on CFA One. Confirmed it took the $14.77 from my account. Went to pick up my order and the doors were LOCKED. Then I couldnt get a manager to come outside and talk to me. Then at 11:42 I got my confirmation that my order was ready. What is going on at CFA? What time do they close? It shouldnt have taken my money out of my account if they were closed. This is not the type of service that I would expect from CFA. I am only giving you one star because it want post without a rating. CFA didnt deserve even one star for the way I was treated. The manager along with about 6-8 employees were having a meeting by the registers when I received my confirmation . Yet no one would come to the door.

The Dwarf house never disappoints me. When Im up and early and dont feel like making breakfast, this is the place I get take out prior to starting my work day. The staff goes above and beyond in their work and are super friendly. Im a frequent customer at the Dwarf House for breakfast and lunch. Some days it can be very crowded with lines out the door; however, they manage to get the lines moving and the orders through. It can be so crowded that a law enforcement officer is stationed in front of the restaurant to direct incoming/outgoing traffic. Yes, it is that popular! You can either order at the counter or do the full service. The Dwarf House beats all of the other fast food competitors in the surrounding area out of the water.

Ordinarily Chik-Fil-A is a easy decision for lunch to make. I love the tender cuts of top choice chicken breast, always hot and cleanliness of the restaurant is hands down better then traditional fast food. This location had trash overfilled, flies hovering, the bathroom odor was detected in the dining area, and the floors were filthy. The staff were polite and seemingly working diligently, however no above and beyond. I was disappointed with my food today, the chicken tasted like rubber, the fries were cold, and the lemonade I look forwards to quenching my thirst was not satisfying. I wouldve addresses this with management but time did not permit. DJ Stevenson Hapeville, Ga.

The original location of the original Dwarf House that became what we know today as Chick-fil-A. Contrary to their popular advertising they also sell burgers and bacon at this location. Take a stool at the bar and order up your CFA favorites, perhaps plate style including a side salad (try Truetts Special House Dressing!) to make you feel better about those fries youre also going to eat! Or go beef and score a burger. If you really want to be bold, especially late at night, try the Hot Brown. Bonus points if you can eat it using only the items provided on the plate but no one is keeping score. Dont forget to exit through the Dwarf door for good luck!

This is it, ladies and gentlemen. Where the chicken sandwich started, and where I usually end my week. Theres a reason Chick-fil-A has gone in to become such an expansive empire, and those reasons are reflected here. Outstanding customer service, quality food, good prices, friendly atmosphere, attention to detail. I will say that this particular location is extremely busy and people used to the normal southern hospitality at other location may not be used to the almost Varsity-esque speed at which this location operates. But if youre wanting a old-school piece of Atlanta tradition, then this place has many stories to tell!

My family loves coming here for the classic diner feel, good service, and good food. Its a good place to bring kids too. Their menu is different than regular Chick-fil-a locations so dont think this is your typical restaurant. Breakfast is our favorite time to come and we look at it like a nicer option to Waffle House. Dinner or lunch is good too and the steak is the best "cheap steak" Ive found. One tip, the chicken and waffles are great but overpriced for what you get. If you order the chicken breakfast theyll let you substitute a waffle for the biscuit. This gives you chicken and waffles with more food and a better deal.

Completely and utterly DISAPPOINTED with this location. We went out of our way to stop at this location and I was shocked to see how unclean it was. There was stuff all the floors, the tables nor chairs were clean. My families food was fine but my original sandwich was cold and I could tell had been sitting on the line for a while. The chicken was rubbery and the bread was gross. I LOVE Chikfila but I would have assumed being the "original" place they would take better care of presentation, I know Im not the only "tourist" to visit. :(

A great stop for any chick fil a fan!! As other reviewers mentioned there is a diner and your typical Chick Fil A within the restaurant so that you can try both!! Just walk in and take a seat if you want to try out the diner. The diner had their classic menu items along with some specials like the Hot Brown, a chessy concoction of chicken, bacon and toast. The sweet potato souffle is also a must. Service was great, and food was fresh. Overall, a must see if in the Atlanta area! Note the diner is 24 hours. The fast food stop is not.

I ordered a number 1 with cheese, eggs, and bacon....i received a chicken biscuit with just bacon and didnt realize until I got home. I was charged extra for the the sandwich I ordered but didnt receive it and it even had my order correct on my ticket so Im going to blame the staff because at 4:45 am with no one else placing orders, I figure they either cant read or just plain stupid also the girl couldnt even pronounce my name correctly so I guess theyre just plain stupid!!!! Do better chick-fil-A, I wont be back for a while

Went inside to order Chick-fil-a breakfast platter and was told that I could only order that for dine in.... I said, I am eating here and she said, No, you must sit on the side with waitress. In all the Chick-fil-a I have eaten I was shocked that the original Chick-fil-a in Hapeville, GA would deny your order unless you go and sit on the "waitress side" .... as a customer you should be able to order anything on the menu, no matter where you are going to eat it. What is the reason for this policy?? Any good answers??
