GREAT experience as usual! Great food &service. I.ve been coming here for months and having regular business and lunch meetings here and the food is always good and the waitresses are always great. Todaywe had the honor of having mrs. Jeri Tharpe. And to this day she is by far 1 of the best waitresses i.ve had here. Very attentive, passionate about helping others some great life goals and made sure the cups stayed full. Lol. Much appreciated! Great food, services, and reasonably priced ALL throughout the day. My only suggestion would be to get some public WIFI!! Lol. Then it would be an even more perfect spot! Much success and prosperity and longevity to #TheCornerCafe

From the time I walked in the door to the time I got my food couldnt have been 8 min. On the patty melt the burger looked and tasted like a cheap frozen patty and the onions were almost raw instead of sauteed. The bread was of good quality and the cheese tasted good. The chicken noodle soup broth was great but the huge piece of chicken in it had no flavor. As I also read in another post they do try to get you in and out in about 20 min. From the time I got here till the time I got the bill was 15 min. Great potential if they step up the quality a little. Nice comfortable environment inside and nice selections. Ill try it again just to see if Im missing something.

Corner Cafe is the quintessential family-owned small down restaurant. Unpretentious and aimed squarely at family dining, the menu is massive so whatever youre in the mood for, chances are they have it. Also makes a great lunch spot. Portions are very generous and the prices really cant be beat. The owners are the same family that owned and operated Milanos Italian Restaurant many years ago and they brought those recipes with them - my personal favorite. Also, the cakes are an opportunity to indulge an extravagant sweet tooth, so dont skip dessert.

This place really impressed me! I had the gyro with extra tziki sauce my first visit and the Cuban Ruben with a side of sour kraut my second visit! My husband got the pimento cheese burger, which was huge! And beautiful! We grabbed 3 slices of amazing cake to go! There is a blonde middle aged waitress, her service made you feel like you were a regular, like family! And the lady who rang is out ( daughter in law of the owner) was a sweetheart! You could tell she aims to please! Love the portions, prices, variety and quality!

We dont frequent this place too often. The reason being has to do with the desserts. They have a refrigerated cooler that sits out on the floor so you can see the desserts, and they are designer type cakes and pies. And not only do they look good, they taste great. They are on the pricey side, but the slice you get could feed 3 people. As for the food, the sandwiches are very good, but the steaks were thin but affordable. They are often crowded, but that is because it is such a good place to eat.

Tried again.... since last time so chaotic due to seating! No "warm & fuzzy" vibe this time either. Must be family owned....asked TWICE (to kid who seated us) for one of the 4 person tables but he continued to take us to booths. Many tables open. Dont put a Gyro sandwich on menu if you dont know how to prepare and for heavens sake....why would you not use fresh tomatoes in August for your BLTs???? Waiter was nice & attentive & wasnt a family member!

Food was awesome, ribs were good other than finding a few pieces of plastic i guess they forgot to take off of them and the cookie monster cake was the most amazing cake ever!! Only other complaint is the restaurant was pretty small felt a little uncomfortable and it was kind of hot in there, hard to enjoy with the weather extremely hot but good is very good. Recomend getting it to go

My family and I love The Corner Cafe. Were always taking food home because of their large portions. We visit 1 to 2 times every week. They even stayed open longer for us yesterday when we didnt realize that they closed at nine on Thursdays. Thank you to all who work there!! Youll love this place.

My teenage sons loved the food, as did I. The German chocolate cake is yumalicious and could feed a small family. Corner Cafe could someday be to Griffin what The Varsity is to Atlanta - without the grease job. They are already talk of the town and one of the bright stars in the Griffin skyline.

My first time there was yesterday for lunch. Some friends had recommended it. I was very pleased with the menu selection and the food was very good. The place looked busy too. Happy to see another downtown Griffin establishment doing well. I recommend them for lunch or an evening meal.

We really enjoyed the corner cafe. We went for lunch and although it was very busy, we were greeted by a very friendly staff, we were seated immediately and a very nice waitress took our drink order within a minute. We will go back when we are in the area again

This was my 2nd visit to The Corner Cafe. The good is great, the service is great. The prices are very reasonable, the portions are large. Tonight we shared a piece of the "Million Dollar" cake. It was fabulous! We will definitely be back.
