Average espresso, served in a Styrofoam cup. Frappuccino was slightly above average. Decent ambiance. The store is fairly nice and clean, however, you can never tell if theyre truly open or not, as they have tinted windows and no cutout for the "open" sign to shine through, so you never know till you pull into the parking lot. Youd think you could trust the hours they have on Google, but you never know. The guy that served us was helpful, especially to my wife, as she didnt know what she wanted to order. His setup was definitely not efficient, as he didnt even have a card reader activated and I had to ask him if I can even use a card. What modern coffee shop doesnt have a Square or something similarly efficient and convenient these days? Not really sure what Id pay with if he didnt feel like setting it up as I dont carry cash. I went with a plain espresso, because this was my first time here and I wanted to judge it on something that should be of high quality in decent shops with little variation among various places. I asked for a ceramic cup, but they didnt have any. To me thats an automatic loss of a star - if I want an espresso, I am looking for a pure coffee flavor and dont want to taste the Styrofoam or a paper cup with that. The quality of it (of the espresso) was average at best Id say, it didnt have that thick espresso (almost like syrup) consistency, and instead it tasted like a really strong coffee from a drip machine. My wifes frap was decent. I think she asked for an espresso in it (they dont normally make them with espresso here). It gave it a little coffee flavor to off-set the sugary taste of the syrups. Overall, I am slightly disappointed after reading these positive reviews. Im probably not going to be back anytime soon.

First off, I am a coffee snob so I the bar is set high. Straight Shot Coffee is worthly of my praise. I travel a lot and finding good coffee not easy. Here the coffee offered is of good quality presenting a medium and dark roast. I prefer medium, the country of origin was Brazil. In 2 days I was there 3 times! BTW, Zack is an awesome person.

This is easily the greatest coffee shop in Middletown - NAY - the world. If one is weary from their travels, this is the one-stop refreshment shop. All their beverages (hot and cold) are splendid. It provides a nice respite from the troubles of life. You should go here. Oh! Cookies. They have cookies. Go there. Now!

Good coffee! The proprietor knows her stuff, and is very friendly. Prices are reasonable, and they have a wide variety of flavor choices, with some seasonal ones floating in when appropriate.
