Ive been eating at Elsombrero for 20+ years! But tonight I received the worst service Ive ever gotten at a restaurant. I called and placed and order for Chicken Fajita nachos (with chips on the side) a large order of cheese dip and chips and salsa. Once I got all the way home I realized they only give me 1 small bag of chips? I then call back to the restaurant (Dawsonville Hwy location) and explain what happened. The guy tells me Im sorry but its not going to be worth your time to come back here for chips? Im like seriously I have cheese dip, salsa and nachos with no chips?? What should I do drink the cheese dip? He didnt offer anything to try and make things right...so I then have to drive all the way back to the store to return the food and get a refund. He basically says theres nothing he can do but refund my money. I asked to speak with the owner or manager but he says theres not one there. Ive never left a negative review but something needs to be done about this! I would love to speak with the store manager...

I enjoy their food...the waiters on Browns Bridge are rude...i live closer to Dawsonville Hwy restaurant...i get take out there...again good food...the problem is ANY time i order say extra guacomole, i pay for it, never get it...first time a mistake...no biggie...2nd time i asked the gentleman to make sure i got the extra guac i paid for & explained what happened my previous takeout....so he assures me he put it in my bag himself (!)....yup you guessed it...no guac!!! So..good food...service not so...

The vibe is really nice, smiles all around from everyone and a great location when your shopping. But they seem to be understaffed and overworked because I had a waiter that seemed to mildly care but was running back and forth. Causing me a bit uneasy to ask for a refill or even have my table cleared or handed the check. Food was ok, not a 5 star restaurant but for the pricing it was ok.

It was a really good experience. From the really nice greeting at the front door to the very attentive and helpfull waiter all the way thru the nice dessert. I asked for something new to drink and the manager offer to make for Me a Passion Fruit margarita. He told Me that drink was not on the menu but He was willing to make it for Me and my friend. Thanks that was really nice!!!

My husband and I are regulars at this location. I have had a couple of...not so good experiences...but as of recently it has been great! There is one waiter who is always willing to go above and beyond and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is always good. Overall a good place to get some good Mexican food.

I had some of the cheese queso dip as my appetizer and two hard shell beef tacos with cheese only and I felt fine the first night and the second night my stomach was hurting so badly. I do not recommend any of these restaurants. Service wasnt that great either.

Good food, not the most authentic but I love the jalapeños in the cheese sauce. The chips are sometimes stale which I dont understand if they are made fresh daily. Good food overall and worth the price. Clean store and employees are friendly.

They went under an extreme change in menu and staff. Food was overpriced for what you got and the staff was nowhere to be found. So sad. Weve been coming here for 3 years. Guess we need to find a new place

This is my favorite El Sombrero location in town. Never had a bad experience at this one. Food always comes quick; hot and fresh. Service is friendly and attentive.
