This is a Mom and Pop style of restauraunt. Local owned, with delicious sandwhiches and Hoagies. They have a wide menu of sandwiches and everything is at least good, and some of it is Excellent. For example, the "Donna Special" (named after an owner) is excellent. Its shaved Roast Beef is grilled with mushrooms, onions and cheese. Mayo on the bun and some picked Jalepenos, it is delicious! I add salt and pepper and some Texas Pete got sauce. Try to eat just half of it. You will not succeed. They have a great pastrami sandwich, and their Itallian is good. The seasoned French fries come out pipeing hot, and are delicious. The diner has been recently remodeled and the menu updated and reprinted. There is a feel of the old world combined with the sharp cleanliness of the remodel that makes it a great atmosphere... Make sure you check out all the blown up historic pictures of Downtown Canton on the walls! This is a great place. Its so good, I almost dont want to review it So it wont get too busy....

A nice blend of a diner and modern restaurant. Brick ambiance with yellow diner tables and a very busy crowd make for a good atmosphere. Take a walk through history with picture of downtown Canton going back to before 1900. The Rueben I ordered was good with lots of sauerkraut. Maybe a little too much cheese but still good. The bread was also yummy. The use a local bread maker called Masada Bakery. Good bread makes a good sammich. You can pay with credit card with their square processor and they move quick through the line. Their fries are below average. Bagged frozen potatoes instead of hand crafted.

Watched staff get aggravated at customers when they didnt hear their number called to come get their sandwiches, which is uncalled for and unpleasant to watch. It is self-serve like a Subway, but the payment method on their iPad practically forces you to leave a tip, so it ends up costing more than its worth. But food and atmosphere are good. Stays packed often and gets crowded and chaotic. Restrooms are in the back.

My wife & I went to Canton for early voting. Afterwards, we asked about a local place to eat and this place was recommended. Man, what great tasting food! Mike and the crew took good care of us. The Philly steak sandwich was super and my wife had a cold Italian sub. May I add that theyve got some of the best tasting fries Ive ever had. Well be back even though its a 30 minute ride to get there.

I eat here at least once a week. Last month I had to be in Atlanta every day around lunch time so I was amazed when I walked in and saw the place was completely remodeled. If you love good sandwiches and great people I suggest giving this place a try. As a bonus you get a small history tour of Canton with all of the old pictures hanging on the walls.

Sandwiches were tasty. Onion rings and potato salad were very good. A suggestion to the owner, replace half dozen of your booths with tables. There are three tables that are for large parties. No small table for 2 to 4 guests for folks larger in size. There are a few people I would like to bring here but will not because there is not available seating.

I must have missed something. Crowded at lunch. With another person. He ordered steak sandwich and i ordered chicken hoagie. Too much shredded anemic iceberg lettuce and ugly tomatoes, just not tasty. Neither one of us were impressed. I am sure there must be special sammies that folks come back for time and again but we missed the boat.

R&M Hoagie has been around forever because the friendly folks there keep serving up philly cheesesteaks that are famous around these parts. A couple of times the family almost retired and shut it down because they wore themselves out working hard, day after day, but they took mercy on us addicts and kept the doors open. We thank you!

Open for breakfast and lunch only. I went for lunch on a Thursday and had the Thursday special of chicken salad. Very good, fast, and lots of smiles from the whole staff during a very busy lunch crowd. This place is worth your time. Decor is rather basic but your going for good food not atmosphere.

Ive been here a few time over my lifetime in Canton. Its always been a great place to go and sit down eat. The food is amazing, service is fantastic. Honestly nothing bad to say at all. Just hope this restaurant keeps having success. Ill continue to go there and promote them.

Can not ask for better customer service and quality of food. The onion rings are the best I ever had, as far back as I can remember. The sauce for them is made in house and taste like it took outstanding. The sandwich was the best parts Donna Special.

This small town staple has anything but small town food. The hoagie shop always provides the best sandwiches and does so with a smile on their faces! Its a local place that you can see many familiar faces and enjoy a fantastic meal!

This is my first visit and Im very impressed! If youre ever in downtown Canton this is the place to eat lunch. Great sandwiches, cool atmosphere, and really friendly staff! I will certainly be back when Im in the area!

First time in on a Monday at 11:00. Service and food are what matter most to me and these guys nailed it. I had a grilled club sandwich. Fantastic. Personnel are very friendly as well. Ill definitely be back.

I love to spend my money in local establishments. This sandwich shop is so good. Its busy at lunchtime but a table can be found easily if you avoid peak times. My favorite is the roast beef sandwich.

The sub rolls are very fresh and obviously made that day. I had the steak and mushroom hoagie and it was very delicious. For the price you cant beat it. Go here for your Philly Cheesteak!

Thought we found veggie subs to eat during court. Unfortunately the, "vegetable soup," is full of meat, but the meat wasnt mentioned on the menu. Got my lunch refunded.

Love this place....must order the "Donna Special" 1 order of fries is enough for 3 people. Gets really busy at lunchtime but service is always friendly and fast :)

Great place for food. The remodel is awesome very happy for the Delucas. Plan to wait a few as there is always a crowd, but definitely well worth the wait.
