Let me start by saying that this store is a "We only hire minorities" publix. Its terrible to say this but every person working there is foreign, and they purposely skip over applications put in by Caucasian applicants. The deli is horrible. It shouldnt be that hard to make employees follow directions when making sandwiches, but alas they are stupid as hell. The "cheese" they use is the "imitation cheese melt product", meaning NOT REAL CHEESE. Watch out for the cashier Sandra! She will miscount what you pay and then accuse you of trying to steal from the store! We gave her a $20, received the wrong change, and was told by her "we was stealin"... She should have been sent home immediately after screaming at customers the way she did. Absolutely ridiculous!!! This store should be shut down. The one down the road is MUCH BETTER, and hires everyone, regardless of how pale their skin tone is!!

I always seem to have an issue at the deli. Last time it was a price difference. Roast beef rang up $1 higher and the employee would not give me the price showing in the deli case and gave me attitude. Manager resolved issue to my satisfaction. Tonight i requested half lb of salami. The other employee had just sliced a pound of turkey and there were turkey scraps all over the slicer. The lady just dumped the salami on the slicer and was going to start and i was like STOP. And told her she needed to clean the slicer before slicing my deli meat. Especially since the previous product was poultry. Dont they teach food safety there? This Publix is only a mile from my house but is the worst one. I usually try to go to the one in Brookhaven on peachtree or on Johnson ferry before I go to this one as I always seem to have a problem at the shallowford road location.

The store is very clean and nice. The prices are reasonable. The problem I have is with the soup/stews in the deli. On three different days, I have gotten some of the soup/stew and have gotten sick. The first two times it was a chili like stew. I got it the first time, it tasted good and I got sick. To remove the suspect, I tried it again and got sick. The last time, I got the minestrone and got sick. That area needs research and correction. Not again for me . . . .

Mixed review, smaller friendly neighbourhood market but after experiencing three trips with three incorrect sales (2 for $5 and being charged full retail) Im weighing the value of the convenience. Pay attention to your receipts. They are quick to apologize but only after youve waited in line for them to correct their mistake.

Good staff, great selection for a smaller Publix. Deli counter is a little inconsistent but averages good with peaks of great. The parking lot is not good. The spaces vary in size and make no sense in most parts of the lot. Big car? Be careful...
