I used to like this Burger 21 for many reasons, the food used to be very good and the service used to be good also. However, my two last visits changed my feelings towards this place completely and I will never go back.. The customer service was awful. It took a group of 5 workers a couple minutes to notice I was even there.... I was the only one on line and they all had their backs turned to me. I placed a to-go order which ended up being COMPLETELY wrong and I got such attitude about it...apparently this is what "I" ordered is what they gave me. They argued with me over and over and before I could even get through to someone, had to speak to FIVE different people. Ridiculous.... it was like speaking to a wall. Will not go back.

Tried it for the first time last week. Wasnt impressed. Burgers are meh, no where even close to as good as Five Guys. The patty is too thick so it doesnt cook right, the middle was cool-cold. And who in the world doesnt want pickles on a burger? But no...that was minus one star alone. And I dont dig places now that want you do 95% of the "work" ordering but yet still pressure you to tip. I mean how much do you tip for someone to walk food to your table? 2%? No clue and thats the point it makes no sense. And the new guy who just started working there made wise cracks in a creepy way the whole time to my daughter and I, apparently because wed never been there before. He made ordering even worse. The shakes were great however.

Five Guys who?? I cant speak for any other location...but the monster burger I just ate here was one of the best burgers Ive ever eaten! Thats saying a lot since Ive been around! You know fresh ground beef the moment it touches your tongue...their combination of beef to fat ratio is of the tastiest and highest quality I have ever encountered anywhere! When its cooked a perfect mid-rare and juicy fat is rolling down your fingers...you know youre in for something special. The fries and free sauces are excellent as well...fried are shoe-string style and crisp on outside and creamy inside as it should be! If it werent for the fries I just devoured...I might have attempted another burger! Its that friggin good!

If you like to dip your burger in butter, this place is for you! I ordered a grilled chicken burger in an attempt to eat moderately healthy. What I received was un-fit for human consumption. The chicken was processed meat, similar to the chicken patty served in public schools except it was cooked in burger grease. The bun had so much butter it was soggy. They failed to include my fries, but Im somewhat relieved they did because the bag would have busted from all the grease if fries were included. I took one bite and tossed it - absolutely disgusting. By the way, its also drastically over-priced. The aforementioned chicken patty, fries and a drink will set you back about $14.

Food and customer service is normally very good. However, my last experience was terrible. My daughter and I dined in. Once I was finished eating, I got up to place an order to go. My daughter came to me, and in matter of two minutes her unfinished food was picked up. On top of that, the representative tells me that cheesy burger can only be ordered as a meal. I stepped aside to call my husband and see what he wants. I got back in the line to place an order. Another representative served me and said that isnt the case. Im not so disappointed with our food being thrown away as I am with lack of knowledge of first representative and bad attitude.

This is the best quick burger place I know. They do a VERY good job on quality of the food, clean presentation, and good customer service. My only gripe is that some of the prices are a little high. The burgers range from $6.00 to $8.00 (which I am OK with if its a GOOD burger); but $2.30 for a small cup of french fries and $2.25 for a soda is over the top. I think the thing to do is go for their daily specials, because they ARE a good deal. It was also nice that they have no gluten and vegetarian options (so now I can entice my girl to give them a try too). I still give it 5 out of 5 just because the burger was really good.

Pressure you to tip before you even experience the service by including it in the payment process, and putting the tip options in giant font so everyone around you can see. Tips are kinda overkill in the first place since you have to get your own drinks and go up to the counter to order....they deliver your food to you and might take your tray once you are finished but thats about it in the way of service. Otherwise, burgers are frequently under-done or over-done and the fries are usually cold. Not worth it for the money...many other better burger places around!

I eat here at least 3 times a month. The service is always friendly and helpful. The food is top notch and always delicious. They have a sauce selection that will please any palate. (including an apple cider sauce and a toasted marshmallow sauce) There are a lot of menu items and tons of variety. Another great feature they offer are turkey burgers, gluten free buns, and salads! Always a bonus for the health conscious. Personal recommendations: Tex-Mex Haystack burger Ale fries Banana fosters milkshake I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner.

Too much sauce! I ordered the tuna that was recommended but I couldnt even taste it. My roll was saturated and had sauce dripping out the back. My husband had the same problem with the sauce.. It was expensive for the little amount of fries we got with the large portion (although they were better than the burgers). I will return if they offered fries with the over priced burgers and put the sauce on the side. It makes me sick and it has been months since I have been there. Ps we stopped at Tijuana flats after because my husband was still hungry

If you consider yourself a burger connaisseur or at least have had REAL burgers, dont waste your money. The burgers arent terrible, but arent worth the cost. Theyre unoriginal, dont have a lot of taste, and its size doesnt make up for it. You can easily make these burgers at home for a quarter of the cost. The fries and sweet potato fries were nothing to get excited about either. If youre local, still the best burgers for your dollar are Five Guys and Red Robin, depending on the atmosphere youre looking for.

Been going to the Burger 21 up on Dale Mabry, and its been great every time. Tried the one in Westchase, guy at counter did not ask if I wanted standard med well, so what I got was 2 sets of sliders that were over cooked/burned on one side , place was not crowded but it took a while for food. Had my kids with me, so no time to wait for new food. For the prices they charge $8.50 for 4 sliders, you would think they would have some quality control in the kitchen. Wont be back to that location.

Absolutely delicious burgers. Nice selection of condiments too. Kids loved it! The one thing I will say is this, they have priced everything too high for the atmosphere they are presenting. I would have no problem with the prices if this was a full service restaurant with servers at your tables, but as it stands it is somewhere in between upscale fast food and a full service restaurant. If they lower prices or go to a more full service system, I will upgrade to 5 stars. I
