The staff here is super friendly. They seem happy to go out of their way to help. A few weeks ago, I wanted some Papaya Solo and didnt find any....I continued shopping and when I go to the bread, I asked if they had any more of a particular brand of bread. The assistant asked if there was anything else I couldnt find. When I mentioned the Papaya, she said it was in a different department and shed go and look to see if they had the bread I had asked for. She came back with a box of Papayas and the bread. She told me to take what I needed. I even pointed her out to the manager. That was the experience I always hear about at Publix....and I received it that day. Its always a good experience, but that day was exceptional! The selection is always good and fresh. They will always open another checkout if the lines get too long. They dont have any self serve registers, but thats not the way they do things at Publix. They prefer the personal touch!

My wife and I love Publix and most of the staff at this store are great. With that being said, the deli at this location is the absolute worst I have ever seen. Very slow and confused people who seem like socializing with each other is their top priority. I sincerely dread going to the deli to order meat/cheese or a sandwich. It appears that the deli Manager (Charles) doesnt instill pride ir a sense of urgency in his people. To avoid eating a sandwich from the deli I usually go see Mark the sushi chef. He is very friendly and will make anything you request on the spot! I cant wait for the new store to open in hopes that it is better than this one.

Not the greatest Publix Ive been to... the customer service is very poor and slow majority of the time. The deli, pharmacy, and checkout areas are very slow and not friendly. Parking is by far the biggest drawback to this location and you can never make it just a quick trip into the store for a few things. While this does not reflect Publix, some of the customers are Wal-Mart quality by being rude to the customers and employees and parking their vehicles in front of the store. Although, they do have a good selection and rarely are out of items that I need. Just save yourself the headache and go up the street to the good Publix on 301 and Symmes Road.

Ordered a cake for mybsons birthday a lady who badly spoke English wrote everything down on a piece of paper we called to follow up thank god we did cause they have "no record" and are now gonna rush to make us our cake.... Love employees who just dont care ahh whatever not their prob right? Update: the publix on bloomingdale called a day after the party that our cake is ready and they have a hand written ticket so a day late and at a different publix... How that is possible I guess the lady works at both but thats just unreal used to love my publix but this was a nightmare...

This Publix specializes in hiring folks that spend most of their time out front smoking cigarettes. Every time I shop here I witness multiple employees hot-boxing smokes by the ATM and the mail boxes throwing their butts on the sidewalk! Why is this tolerated? When the employees reenter the store they stink like cigarette smoke! YUK ! The entire store stinks like ammonia when you get near the seafood section. The deli is the worst of any Publix! ....Do yourself a favor and go 1 mile North to the NEW Publix.

Rating: One star due to bad customer service. I went to get sandwich bread and some fruits, at 9:35 pm, the lady in custome service named Audrey refused to check me out, said I am closed. She pointed to go to another register with a nervous voice tone. I told her ok just calm down, she answered ok I will. Instead of apologizing, or saying execuse me I am closed, you may take your purchase to another register. Her behavior was unprofessional. I am not use to this kind of service at Publix.

Very busy store. Staff is super friendly, pharmacy is overworked and understaffed yet they still smile. Would be 5 star but why does it take so long at the deli?? We love the order ahead but sometimes I want to order based off how it looks, unfortunately I dont get to because I dont have enough time or kids cant sit that long... was also upset when I requested a product over 3 years ago.. no follow up and they never ordered it.. I was inconviencing them just asking for it.

I normally have a great experience at this location with friendly staff. Today I was highly disappointed when I called the bakery to place an order and spoke to Ken. He was very rude. As I placed my order, he cut me off multiple times while I was speaking. I am not confident that my order will be correct, as he seemed to be rushing through the entire order. When I pick up my order, I will be making a complaint to the store manager. Very disappointing.

This is a huge Publix compared to most, and has much more to offer then most Publix supermarkets (compared to Sarasota). The staff was amazingly friendly. My wife and I were discussing where a certain thing may be, and before we could even ask somebody, a young man came up and asked us if he could help us find anything! Checkout was very quick as well. There were four registers open, and there was only about 1 or 2 people in each one.

Purchased a fried chicken dinner meal today at 8 PM got home to serve dinner to my family and realize the cell by time was for noon today call the store to verify that it was possibly a mistake the deli department said they werent sure buddy be safe enough to eat because it was cooked today and to ignore the sell buy time I returned it this evening spoke with the manager all he could say was Huh thats weird no apologies whatsoever

My husband orderdd a chicken tender sub (full)and the girl behind the counter chopped up 2 tenders and put it on the sandwich. There was WAY to much bread I asked if she could chop a few more tenders she said 2 was all she was allowed to give us?? I work in St.Pete and order this all the time and they ALWAYS chop 4-5 tenders. Will never order order a sub again from this location

I was shorted 3 inches off my Cuban sandwich . I barely have enough to money for food as it is since i have MS. I cannot believe this !! :( Even the other store are crooks. What gives? The whole "green wise" is a scam. There is no such thing as organic anymore. Unless you raise the food yourself. All the animals that are processed for consumption are abused. Do you research !

As I am new to the area, this was my first visit and I was not disappointed. You can expect a very large, clean and well stocked facility. From the meats to the produce section, youll be able to find a great selection of fresh products as well as international (ethnic) goods. As always you can expect great service with a friendly smile from the Publix associates.
