this was my first experience dining at bonefish grill. we sat down 1/2 hr before closing but the staff did not rush us at any time. the waiter recommended the bang bang shrimp which was excellent. i had a hard time deciding on the main course. another gentleman came to the table and described how the shrimp pad thai was prepared and he was so detailed about the ingredients and preparation that i had to try it and it was 10 stars!!! the shrimp was so tender, fresh, and abundant in this plate. the flavors were the most beautifully blended amazing yet soft and aromatic to the palette. later this gentleman came back to our table to ask how we felt about our dinners. he then introduced himself as the proprietor of the restaurant, joe. joe runs a tight ship with an air of fine dining and utmost quality. i can tell he puts 100% pride into this restaurant. we will be returning to try more of the menu at bonefish grill in plantation!

Food was great, service had hiccups. I took my mom and sister here for mothers day. The waiter we had was excellent and kept checking in on us. The food was also great. I ordered the grilled grouper and it was excellent. Tasted fantastic as well as the other dishes. There were a few downsides to the meal. When we first sat down, the small plates were dirty, as well as the glasses. My sister ordered a slice of cake/pie before our meal and when it came to us there was a bug in it. At the end of the meal I ordered a coffee and the mug had lipstick on it.... Despite these events I am giving them three stars. Ive been here on two occasions and both times the food and service were good. Im giving them the benefit of the doubt since they were more than likely extremely busy for Mothers day and these sorts of things happen.

Look like youre short staff on about 2-3 people, but overall the staff you have are hard workers and very nice and friendly that I approached during my visit, Jared, my waiter while I dined was super POLITE, on point with everything ,didnt even have to ask, 100% on what every customer would want as their waiter/waitresses, Bonefish Grill is lucky to have him! Didnt get the managers name but he was very polite and approaching as well during the Sept 4 evening shift , that was wearing a burgundy shirt , overall great restaurant!

Good seafood in the area. Fish is fresh and a variety of things to eat. Also the red berries on the bushes on the other side of the parking lot are edible. More recently when we went there they had some sort of kitchen meltdown and nobody could get served for a hour & even then most orders were wrong/ lacking. The best seafood place in the Sunrise area but thats not saying much. If you get really hungry & tired of waiting, the red berries on the bushes in the parking lot are edible but are only out in the Spring.

My family and I are long time customers. Bone Fish in Plantation used to be a good restaurant, not anymore!!!! Paul is the worst manager I ever talked to…To be a manager he has a lot to learn. A good manager doesnt act like that!!!! I hope he sees this…The staff is bad too, except for a couple of servers that actually are the ones who save this restaurant. We had a terrible experience on New Years Eve…. Will NEVER go back to that restaurant! They lost several of us as customers. Goodbye!!!!

I went there to my birthday and we ordered the rainbow trout, what a deception, the fish was saturated in oil, was not even possible taste the fish! We wait for the manager about 20 minutes, and we tried to explain and he was giving excuses about the lemon butter, well in the end they gave us a desert free because was my birthday and didnt charge the fish, what was fair! The creme brûlée was amazing and the bang bang shrimp is really good! I have no intention to come back!

This use to be my faveorite place to go however the aervice and the food has become average. My recent vist i walk in the door wait for the hostesa to chitter chatter the when they finally turnes around not even an hello instead priceed to ask for thw amount of table guest so i said hello the waitress was just as mediocre and not knowledgeable abiut the menu was more interested in catching up with acquaintance

My Experience was by far the worst that I have ever encountered at any restaurant in my entire life. The waitresses had the nastiest attitude. She made my husband,and I feel very uncomfortable . Once we had gotten home and had begin to discuss how she had treated us we begin to regret the fact we spent our money with the establishment. I may go onto yelp and do a more detailed explanation.

I felt the servings were cut back to much, enough to be noticeable. The bang bang shrimp and calamari appetizer. In addition, the glassware was dirty when first brought to the table. The second attempt to correct the problem was not successful. All in all, our experience this time was not enjoyable as we are accustomed to receive at this property

Service was well below normal standards. Had to wait 40 minutes past our reservation time to be seated. Wait staff was not attentive. Food delivery was NOT done in a timely manner....drink delivery was NOT done in a timely manner...at one point in time my table of 7 actually joked that maybe the waiter might have gone home for the night.

The food was good however the portion sizes were extremely small. The salmon dish only covered half of the plate! I have been to restaurants more expensive than this that give double the food. Also, the waitress wasnt friendly at all and she didnt seem to know anything about the menu. Ill never go back. Good luck!

First time here. Felt under-dress but the Hostess Sam, welcomed my brother and I and reassured us and set the tone for the evening. Our waiter Jared was absolutely phenomenal! He was very attentive to our needs, helped with recommendations and overall, very personable. Will definitely come again!

I am never disappointed when I go to Bonefish! Not only is the food unbelievably delicious, and the service is on point, but the drinks alway come equipped with a punch. Seriously every time I go to Bonefish I am never let down. Do yourself a favor, go to Bonefish and see it for yourself.

We eat here at least once a month. Especially on Tuesdays for the hooked on Tuesdays dinner specials. Food is always tasty and most important CONSISTENT! I know what I am going to get when I order it! The happy hour house wine is great too, not to mention a friendly service staff!

For a chain, this place surely has a homely feel. We come here for dinner often and weve become friendly with the delightful wait staff. Whenever we have a problem with the food, its made right. Also, the place gets packed starting around 7, the bar is full by 530.
