We drive almost 2 hours to eat the home made foods in their deli. We love the Greek Salad and the gyros. There is a lot of differnent Mediatrain and sometimes English foods made daily. The bakery is good too. We go there mainly to buy spices from around the world, teas, and coffees. The flat breads are inexpensive and fresh. We buy canned grape leaves stuffed with rice, olive oils and food from all over the world to take home. You do have to watch the expiration dates because the signs tell you you buy it cannot return it. Since it is such a long drive we go once a month and buy everything we need for that month. I took a Greek cooking class and I took our class there to buy all of our cooking needs for the class. We all ate at the deli and enjoyed the lunch specials.Sometimes when we go there there will be a few chefs from the surrounding 5 star hotels shopping so we look at what they are buying and then buy the items too. The Indian spices are great there and inepensive to make curries and vindaloo. There is no membership fee to join. The only thing I do not like is the long drive there but then it gives us a reason to get out and enjoy the day so now that gas prices are a lot cheaper then we go. I forgot to menetion the Greek red wine vinager comes in gallon jugs for about 4.00 and is simply the best vinagar I have ever used to make salad dressing. You can get great deals of big sacks of rice as well. All in all it is almost always a great shopping experience.

I visited this store for the first time today. I read several reviews about the expired foods, so I checked everything I picked up. I did not find any expired foods for sale. About 3/4ths of the store is Middle Eastern foods (Lebanese, Turkish, Persian), Greek (mostly foods similar to Middle Eastern, eg. phyllo dough, feta cheese, olives, spanikopita), or South Asian foods (Indian, Pakistani). The remainder is a mix of British, South African, Croatian, Russian, Polish, and Brazilian foods. There were a few items from East Asia, but not many. The prices varied from cheap to expensive. Overall, I think their prices were not expensive, except for frozen foods (many items in the freezer were expensive, except pierogi). The restaurant had good food, but the selection (on a Saturday at noon) was limited: samosas, chicken or beef kebab, or gyro for main item plus greek salad, baba ghanoush, hummus, stuffed grape leaves (they were oily, so probably canned and not made in the store, but price was good at 2/$1), and probably 2-3 more side dishes that I cant remember. Prices were about $7.49-$9 for meals (main dish, 2 sides, bread, and drink). They also have various deserts that look like they are made in the store. Overall, it was something different from other international food stores that focus on one region (Middle Eastern, East Asian, Hispanic, Brazillian). I recommend visiting at least once and spending an hour browsing the entire store, even if you dont buy much.

Although they have expanded this store by adding a produce section, they are not using the US procedure of weighing the produce at the register. They are using the old fashion overseas technique of having to wait in a line to weigh the produce in the back and that is if the person doing this job is there and available. Once I got the the register with over 10 items, the cashier asked me to give her the price of each item. There is no sign indicating this procedure near or around the produce. She then went on to argue with me that it is my responsibility to give her the price. I had to explain to her that it is her job not mine. Then she called someone else to come up front to find the prices. The whole point of shopping early morning is to avoid lines and not to spend unnecessary time finding the price. If I want to run around and do this, I can go to Walmart. Advise to owner: change this process to be more efficient. The store looks amazing and you know this can be the one shop stop that most people are looking for. Your staff needs to speak more politely to customers if they want them to come back and refer their friends and family.

Racist, bigoted owners, but I wont go into that here. God forbid you ask them a question, they just troll around giving nasty stares and mumbling to themselves. Youd think would have been enough deterrence, but as we were already there we looked around. Walkers crisps were 4 months PAST expiration (in Blighty they generally are sold with a good year left), same goes for almost every sweet we attempted to buy. HOW IS THIS PLACE NOT SHUT DOWN FOR HEALTH VIOLATIONS? It became a game of finding out how many things we could find NOT expired "hey Nigel, heres something that still has a month!". We walked out empty handed-Im not about to pay for rotten groceries. Theres so many places in Orlando to get British goods, why on earth would you visit this dump?

First, they have an Israeli section yet refuse to advertise or fly our flag..interesting.Second,I purchased pre made Indian sauce to only find out when I got home, the expiration dates were scratched off but the dates were still indented...EXPIRED OVER A YEAR.GROSS..The Ghormeh Sabzi the lady offered me (because they were out of the dried) was iced over with freezer burn yet she still tried to sell me on it.The only good thing is the selection of Persian cucumbers.I am shocked this place has not been shut down with all the violations...The people in charge are rude and take no responsibility or apologize for the amount of expired and potentially dangerously spoiled food they try to sell at the ridiculous mark ups...Whole Foods has a better selection.

Yes, in International Food Club you can find products that are not in regular supermarkets. BUT! The expiration dates in most of them have passed. Sausages and pates have a spoiled smell. We didn’t dare to eat them. There are BUGS in groats!!! Shelves with products are dirty. The floor is always dirty and sticky… Faugh! Did you ever hear something about such a thing as SERVICE? You ask considerable prices for the goods. OK! Take the trouble to at least keep track of expiry terms and storage conditions. Do your employees generally get paid? They look very unfriendly and offended by something. Apparently, they also didn’t hear anything about the service provision. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this store. NO.

Great store, lots of international foods, inexpensive prices. However, they sell many expired items and dont seem to care when a buyer points that out. I wanted to purchase a tub of soft cheese that had a month old date stamp on it (without stating if its production or expiration date). The employee tried to convince me its the former. I firmly believe it was the latter, fresh dairy being so perishable. He calmly said ok and put the cheese back in the refrigerator. There were at least 10 tubs there, if not more. Some dry items also were way past expiration date. Ive been going there for years and have had this experience many times. I want to love the store but they make it quite hard.

I usually go to the International Food Club to buy chocolate and products from my home country. This is very expensive and you should go there on Mondays when there is 10% off. They said they could order some products but they never ordered the products I gave them on a list (Wholefoods is better for this !). There is always a long line when checking out, I saw several times customers yelling at each others because the checking process is messy. I also saw workers yelling at each others and they are not the most helpful and efficient, most of them are in the back office behind the curtains near the registers.
