My friends and I loved this shop. We came here almost weekly for about three months straight, and we brought all of our friends, who also brought all of their friends. Every time we went, we ordered coffee and sometimes food, and occasionally we ordered multiple coffees in one visit, without fail. Recently, we came in, planning to spend a few hours there (during which we planned to order multiple coffees per person). We did not order for about fifteen minutes, as a couple of us werent sure what we wanted yet (we had menus). When I finally decided, I stood up and ordered. Our table was by the counter, so he (the owner) looked at one of my friends, and looked at her pointedly to order (though she was still reading the menu). She said she still needed some time to decide, but rather than let her take her time, he made a rude motion with his hand indicating for her to speed up the process of deciding in a completely serious and impatient manner. She was taken aback by the rude display and wanted to leave immediately. I, despite having ordered, did not yet pay, so all of us left with her, as she was very upset. We had another friend who was in the bathroom at the time of the incident, but when he came out, the owner pulled him aside, and said "tell your friends to never come back". I went back inside to ask him why he said that to my uninvolved friend, but rather than seeming at all apologetic about his rudeness, he instead defended his actions and compared his business to others that are similar, claiming that other establishments would not tolerate us not ordering right away. Which was false, considering that the name brand he mentioned actually lets people in to their stores to spend time with each other and build community. Although I understand his point (he is running a business and needs to make money), my friends and I were loyal customers, constantly bringing in business. If we were the kind of people to come in and make a commotion and disrupt people without buying anything, I may understand his impatience. But this was uncalled for. I will never go back, nor will any of my friends or their friends. He lost a lot of business.

When did an art café snuck onto the scene right under my nose in Metro West? This is the best kept secret in town. Tucked in a plaza off of Kirkman Rd and Metrowest Blvd…..no, can’t tell you more. It is too cool. I don’t want to share. The front is like a little garden, with ample plants for shade and privacy. There are a handful of tables with umbrellas and chairs, really cool. Enter the art den. Whoa! It is a huge open space with cool art adorning the walls and, get this, the ceiling. There are plush sofas and chairs scattered around for group or communal seating. Single high backs line the bar. A couple of single corners sprinkle around. A very eclectic menu of sandwiches, pastries, smoothies, coffee drinks, beer, and wine makes this place a pleaser for everyone. There definitely is something for everyone. All or most of the wines are by glass or bottle. The smoothies are a build it your own sort of way. There are daily and weekly specials of sandwiches and salads. The unique sangria is made in house with fresh fruits. Be fore warned this stuff creeps up and packs a mighty punch. Service here is by the owner. He is cordial and amicable. A very calm, cool, relaxed man, who really takes time and shows pride in his work. He really lets people just graze around the café and wander among the wonderful art. Cigars and hookahs are available also. The vibe is relaxed and service is very hospitable. It is amazing that this place is not overflowing or maybe I went at a slow time. Oh, there is free Wi-Fi! I am afraid this place may not stay below the radar for too long. Until then, enjoy.

So I went to meet someone there for a business meeting due to the previous experiences I have had which had been great. We were going through some paperwork first and then my plan was to eat lunch there. This short rude guy who apparently is the owner from what I read on the reviews, comes and hands well almost throws the menu down to me so we can order. A few moments later, he sends a nice girl who looked terrified to ask if we were going to order. Apparently he does not care for bad reviews and I no longer care about this place. He embarrassed us in our business meeting and I will never choose this place to meet anyone there again. I always buy something and I never take advantage of small business owners. His attitude is deplorable so I wanted to let everyone know, to think twice of going there in case you meet this very bad business man. Oh and he will probably respond with some snyde remark as he has done before. I really dont care, it really is your loss, not mine. I am the customer, not you. You depend on the people who buy your product so you should learn to be more respectful.

I was hesitant to even review this place for the sole purpose that I wanted to keep it my little secret. It is the coolest coffee shop I have found to date. The atmosphere is so relaxed, eclectic, hip, and fun. The day that I went, they had jazz music playing, small groups of people spread out, some working, some just chilling out, and the Food Network playing (...as if this place didnt already have my heart!). Plus, the coffee was great. I would recommend this to any coffee drinker. Hell. Id recommend this place to anyone. They have board games and books lying around and, by the looks of those around me with food, serve some great dishes. So, even if youre not a coffee drinker, Id say check this place out. When I move here over the summer, I will certainly become a regular.

Dear owner, My point was proven. You approached our table not 45 minutes after. This is not true and you basically threw the menu at me when you passed it so fast. You are rude, condescending, arrogant and extremely low class even in the manner in which you attack the people that give you a complaint, shows the character you have. It is a shame because prior to that, I liked the people (not you) that work there and they are friendly. You are a pompous ass and do not worry, I will not go there. Businesses like yours eventually fail. I have gone to many establishments that know how to be decent and provide customer service. At least, your server, had more class and respect when she approached us.

Charming establishment. Truly a gem. Friendly service, trendy atmosphere, and delicious food and drinks! The barista (potentially the owner?) was very approachable and down to earth. The place had comfortable social seating with indoor and outdoor tables and several couches and lounge chairs. Everywhere you looked there was something interesting to see with art all over the walls, books on the coffee tables, and board games on the shelves. Plus its tech friendly with a charging station and free wifi! The food and drinks were tasty and fairly priced. They had a great selection of sandwiches, pastries, teas, and coffees (they even had wine). Highly recommend!

Terrible coffee shop! So I come to this place to meet some friends and have some coffee. I arrive first and as I am waiting for friends to arrive I put on my headphones, put spotify on some james blunt and close my eyes for a sec. Not even 5 mins into my music listening, this little Indian "all flamboyant and bad attitude" guy comes to me and tells me if Im buying something or not! I am 24 and never until now have I been asked this, not even at a macdonalds! Then proceeded to tell me I have my eyes closed and to get out. He was the owner apparently as well, I was in complete shock!
