I have visited this place about four times now. Overall, the experiences have been good. Seems to be a locally owned place. We usually go for dinner and bring the kids. The paninis and crepes are excellent. I love the cheese panini on a baguette and the salmon crepe. They also have an excellent selection of quality gelatto with changing flavors. Just know that it is a bit pricey. In general the service is not speedy but mostly it has been acceptable. Also, they did not have their beer/wine license until recently. Here are the things the owners need to address to improve things: 1 - On our last visit we had difficulty getting service but there were six employees having a fun little discussion in the back. I love that they give the local kids jobs but they need to instill some professionalism in them. 2 - They only have one label of wine and unless you are huge grapefruit fan you probably wont like the taste of any variety. Get some decent wines! 3 - The beer selection is the Florida beer list circa 1992 (Corona, Corona Light, Bud, Bud Light, you get the point). Break out and get an IPA, Hefeweizen, and a Stout or Porter. They go with the food well. At least a Belgian beer. 4 - Due to the minimalist nature of the interior any sound is reflected. If there are any kids or loud conversations it can get quite loud. Add some sound deadening for a better atmosphere. Hopefully they will listen as this could be a great place and I like the convenience of the location.

El sitio agradable, los empleados con poco ánimo de servicio, los helados no muy buenos, en cuanto al tamaño de servicio es escaso para su valor, una tina pequeña no la llenan completa, una barquilla mediana la sirven con escaso helado, utilizan unos conos con el papel pegado con azúcar pero que es desagradable. En cuanto a los sabores el de oreo y brownie no tiene diferencia ya que la mezcla de galleta y brownie es escasa y la base es la misma. En definitiva no repetiría el sitio para comer un gelato. No puedo opinar de las demás platos del menú pues no los probé. Pero no volvería. :(

This is one of our favorite places around Lake Nona! Some people said in other reviews that the prices are too high but I disagree. 2 large gelatos come out to $10- not $18 like someone else posted. The quality of the food, pastries, and gelato is really great. The cuisine is authentic and so yummy! Macaroons are amazing and its the only place around here you can find them! They have a large variety or crepes which are all super delicious! I love the Fruit and Brie crepe and, of course, all the Nutella varieties! Also, paninis are great! The focaccia bread is my favorite. The only critique I have about 407 is that you shouldnt expect restaurant type service. Not that its bad, but the staff is a bit younger and can sometimes be slow, partially due to the fact that they only have two crepe makers. All in all, we love 407! Highlights are the gelato, macaroons, and crepes! We continue to call 407 one of our favorite spots for any meal.

Ive been coming here for about 4 years, in the beginning it was GREAT. The food was amazing and best of all the service was exceptional. But recently the quality of both the food and service has been getting worse and worse with each visit. While the food is not as good as it used to be, its still pretty decent. But whats really turned horrible is the service and the waiting staff, they are absolutely horrible, slow, and somewhat rude. I also cant help but notice that there doesnt seem to be a manager to make sure the waitresses are actually doing their job. Hopefully the owner reads this and makes some much needed change, for now she has certainly lost some very loyal, longtime customers.

I absolutely love this place. Aside from the gelato and sweet treats, the staff is wonderful. I always feel like home when I go there. I work next door so I am always getting a breakfast sandwich there in the morning...because I am a picky eater they make my spinach, egg and cheese croissant delicious. Service is extremely slow here. Food was good and staff is very polite but after 5 visits I have yet to have prompt service. When I say prompt service, I mean it takes a long time to get a menu, even longer to order, and much longer to get your food. Something that should take a couple of minutes is much longer than the time it takes to eat my meal.

First time i came i really enjoyed their food and i e cream. Now i came and ordered gelato on a cone. Unfortunately the gelato did not taste fresh and tasted as when you leave something in the fridge with out being covered for too long:/could be because they dont sell that much of it.

This is the best place in my area right now. The people are super nice the food is great. I love this place. Is a place to have a little something!! Especially the nutella filled crepe. If you are not happy with this place you are just an unhappy person!!!!!!!

Terrible service and over priced food. You have a choice of 1. a panini or 2. a crepe and dont expect sides with either. Also be careful ordering to-go gelato. 2 small to-go gelatos will cost you $18.00. Will not be going back.

Crepes are delicious and customer service here is top notch. I also enjoy their gelatos. They have a nice ambiance and a few tables outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Prices are slightly on the high side.

Love 407 Cafe! Juices are made fresh right in front of you. Absolutely recommend the crepes as well. Very clean and cute little cafe on popular Melrose. And staff is so friendly and nice! Highly recommend!

Best Gelato in all of Orlando, hands down, no contest. The owner really knows what he is doing. Any better than this and you would have to to Italy. And their food is very good. You must go here and eat!

You have to go into 407 not expecting restaurant service; the food is expensive but very good. The gelato is almost as authentic as Italy. Dont go in hungry or youll spend a small fortune.
