My first time ever coming to this Deli I didnt realize it was about to close. As theres a giant sign that says open across the front window. When I walked in I was greeted not very friendly a bit cold and we walked in as I went with a friend to any in there before we were greeted not very friendly at all. The lady quickly assess what we would like and I said that I wasnt sure that I had never been there before, the lady then responded to that I had 10 minutes to pick because they were closed. And I was shocked honestly I wanted to leave and not even try the sandwiches but I didnt want to be rude to my friend who had invited me there. The two ladies that were there did not offer as drinks or napkins or any such thing they just pretty much gave us their sandwiches and shove just on our way and then as we were walking outside the door it was the first time we get the real smile which was pretty much like yeah hurry up and get the hell out of here and have a great day I will not be coming back.

I stopped by Southside Deli for my first visit today, the line inside was from the register to the door and there was 3 people behind me waiting in line outside to get it. The staff was very friendly, prices are very reasonable, the time it took to get my food in hand from the time I ordered at the counter was very quick and the food was amazing, everything on the sandwich was extremely fresh and full of flavor. This is a great little deli, if your a sandwich, soup or salad person you must stop by this place.

This is an amazing deli. Good soups, salads, and sandwiches. They even have knishes. Who has knishes in the south? Highly recommend this deli over the many I have tried in Ocala.
