Hi, Rarely have we been so abused and with such terrible service as the Waiter that attended us , yesterday 01/01/13 at 10: 00 pm at the table 62/1 on Mr Chow in miami beach. We were Mr. chow new york regulars and occasional Mr. Chow London, i say "we were" because , given what happened today we will not return any more to any Mr. Chow unless we see some action taken in this matter! We had reservations for 9: 30 pm under the name of our friends Mr Koe (table for 4) with hes wife thats 6 months pregnant After waiting 30 minutes we sat at table 62/1 and we were attended by a waiter named Josh who sat us and told us that he well attend us shortly, but only that we need to immediately say if we are going to ask the lacked duck because it runs out, so we ask for it! 35 minutes later where nobody attended us, we claims to the waiter whats happening, that we do not get attend?, and the Waiter VERY rude answers us that he is full and NO he cannot serve us now, that we have to wait, which we replied: but you can or want to attend us or tell us to go somewhere else, to which responded in a way even more RUDE , that if we want to go we can go, thats your decision!!!!! , answer that impressed and strongly affected us, and much more in this type of restaurant. My wife in a conciliatora way asked that please attends us, which he approached the table in a challenging way to say rude way to my wife that we already had ordered duck and the rest wait and then ask it, action that I do not accept and immediately strongly stop since nobody can disrespect any woman and much less can I allow to be my wife. 5 minutes later he came to tell us that theres NO longer Lacked duck , and if we want it has to be crispy, which (after 40 minutes) we had to say Yes. Calling the Manager , we explain the situation, asking for the change of waiter, he inform us that it was not possible for the restaurant full and he was the only waiter taking care of the whole outside area, and he wil speak with the waiter to solve the situation. The Waiter came and told us to take the order since Ms. K was pregnant (apparently that was the reason, not that its hes job!!) and took the order, finishing dinner at noon 12: 07 am. When he broad us the account the waiter Josh cheated since given the trouble we didnt wanted to give any tip, to which we write expressly in the check and in the Credit Card Voucher, the rude and incorrect Waiter Josh charge 18% tip. Given the time, discomfort and it tired of Ms. K on her pregnancy we couldnt speak again with the Manager. We want that you were informed of what happend , so to take the appropriate corrective measures, since otherwise you will lost all faithful customers as it happend with us. Waiting for a prompt response an much important a prompt action !! Regards

From the beginning to the end of our diner we were disappointed. Some of the food is very good but everything is pretty greasy. After 10 minutes waiting, "Luigi" the host finally greet us. He made some stupid comment trying to be cool and friendly... We got our table and someone came to see if we wanted sparkling or still water and gave us the wine list. No food menu. He brought us the San Pellegrino we order and then we were waiting for our food menu more than 10 min. "The captain" came and ask us if it was our first time, what kind of food we liked and suggested to take a "package". 2 appetizers - 2 entrees. But we still didnt have the menu. We had to ask to see it. Sorry you might not have the same taste as I do... So even if you say its good... I would like first to see a menu... The food portion look very small but as its greasy its still enough. The side dishes are $ 6.00 per person but min 2 person. So basically its $12... and you have to have the same side... or if you have a different one its $24 for both side dishes... The deuce tables are very close to each other, so you dont have that much intimity... We had too much food and we asked the leftovers to go. The next day when we openend our containers our cheap waiter put half of what remained on the plates. I had the "green Prawn" that were very good. There were 6 or 7 remaining and in the container I got 3 mixed with my green beans side dish that I didnt touch.... The food is good but Im not sure I would go back just for the mentality of the staff. There are many high end restaurants in Miami Beach and you have so many choice... but forget about this one! Go to Nobu or Hakkassan instead if you want Asian Cuisine! At least you have for your money!

I wished I had paid attention to these reviews, the service was horrible, overpriced, the staff is very, very rude. After living in Miami for more than 5 years I think Ive been to most of the good restaurants in the city, and never have had such a horrible experience. If you go to this restaurant the bad experiences start as soon as you enter and try to get the table for which you already have a reservation, the wait is just ridiculous, they have a computer system that apparently does not work as they send you to check again with another girl right next to the computer with a handwritten list. After waiting for at least 15 minutes (remember, I had a reservation) they would tell you to go and wait at the bar and that they will send for you (another 15 to 20 minutes wait), BE CAREFUL with the bartenders!!!!!!! I ordered some drinks for my group, the bartender did not prepare one of the drinks that I asked him for, instead he prepared something else, when confronted the guy stops paying attention to me, after a couple of minutes he finally changes the drink and when I pay (be mindful that an 18% tip is included, this is pretty standard in Miami Beach) the bartender does not come back with the change. I try talking to the guy, he keeps ignoring me completely! Finally my girlfriend talks to the manager and then the bartender gives me a lame excuse saying that he was too busy, but of course, we all know what his plans were. Please do yourselves a favor and avoid this place. There was only one staff that was extremely nice and polite, a kid named Alex. If havent said it enough, let me say it again, PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE and you will be avoiding a really bad experience.

Deception - thy name is Mr. Chow. The restaurant came highly recommended from a friend who visits South Beach often. Naturally when my wife and I decided to make a short trip to Miami we thought Mr. Chow would make the perfect Friday night date. Now, having heard that Mr. Chow frequently attracts celebrities and the like, and how difficult it is getting a table there, I used OpenTable to make a quick reservation for 7:00 pm - the only spot available on the site. 7:00 pm gets around and my wife and I make it to the restaurant. Friendly waiters in bowties all around, excellent decor, high ceilings, humongous bar, and white cabanas - they were all present. We proceeded to order a bottle of wine and were given a walk through of the menu. All good so far. I looked around, there was hardly anybody there for the large space. I had imagined it would be spilling with people considering it was now 7:30 pm on a Friday night in South Beach. Anyway, we proceeded to order our food - promised that the chef loves a challenge and would whip up a good meal off the menu even. As our dishes started flowing in, we noticed one common pattern - nothing was seasoned as expected with the exception of one dish. The food was mostly bland and not at all what I expected. And then came the bill - it was enormous - which was expected. However, the size of the bill did not even approach the quality of food. Avoid Mr. Chow if you like good food.
