I used to live right around the corner from Pan Pan, and I must say that this bakery is the thing I miss the most about Longwood. The aroma alone is enough to brighten even the gloomiest of days. The owners are kind and friendly, always willing to guide you to try their variety of delicious items. My all-time ultimate favorite item is the Chicken Turnover/Empanada de Pollo. The savory chicken filling complemented the flaky empanada dough perfectly, and no matter how many I ordered, it never seemed like enough. They also have more traditional Beef and Potato Turnovers/Empanada de Carne y Papa. Other tried and true standbys are the Ham and Cheese Rolls/Pan de Jamon y Queso, Coconut Rolls/Pan de Coco, Guava and Cheese Rolls/Guayaba y Queso, Bread Pudding/Budin, Flan, Tres Leches, Triple Chocolate Cheesecake, or just a big, soft loaf of freshly baked Columbian bread. It is perfect to bring home and make sandwiches out of...if it ever gets there in one piece. I love and miss you, Pan Pan! My heart is yours forever!!

Ive eaten from here several times and every time is a good experience. The bread, pastries, and food is delicious, low priced, and well sized. The staff is always friendly and it never feels like they are annoyed when I take my time choosing what I want. Even though I dont speak Spanish, their English is very good and they always ask if I want my empanadas or stuffed yuca warmed up when I get them.

The best of the best, simple as that. The staff is always friendly, the aroma alone is extremely welcoming, and really brightens my day. Always will be my favorite place to eat lunch at. Their baked goods all in all are delicious.
