I have gotten the pork dinner a few times before today however, today was a different story. My family and I brought home two pork dinners. At the first bite it tasted like we were biting into a salt lick. We called up to see if we could bring the food back and all the lady on the line said was they were closing in 10 minutes. After continuously trying to explain we did NOT want to order anything we were put out through uh to a different person and were told to bring it back. I went back and they opened the boxes, looked at the food, threw their hands up saying they didnt know what was wrong " . I dont know what they couldnt understand about the food being to salty to eat . At least they refunded our money. Moral of the story , food was terrible this time around and the customer service was HORRIBLE.

Dont pay attention to the dude sending you to Brandon. La Septima have a cook. Cuban Delights have a Chef, a real cuban Chef/Owner. I come from a place where " cuban food" its called "food",that is ,Cuba, so i know what im talking about. This guys cooking is excellent, uses fresh ingredients in all his recipes, very clean cozy place, not expensive by any standard, have a family oriented ambiance. Ill recommended to anyone who wants to taste real cuban food. And by the way, to the other guy with the aluminum foil in his sandwich, double check the name of restaurant you where in. Cuban Delights dont have Crab Rolls in their menu.

This restaurant is not in Brandon, its in Lakeland and the food is out of this world! Try their half chicken on Friday or their pork ribs, ajiaco, or masitas de puerco (fried pork chunks). The chef is wonderful, the staff is friendly and the food is authentic. It feels like Im eating at the home of a world class chef. Please people, pay attention to which restaurant you are rating. This Cuban Delights does not use aluminum foil on any of their sandwiches.

This place was highly recommended by the locals so we ventured out. Its a small hole in the wall eatery, which we arent opposed to. However the food was mediocre. We ordered 2 cuban delight combos which included beef, chicken, shrimp , rice, beans and sweet plantains. It cost $14 and they did give us quite a but of food but I wouldnt say it was good. It was just ok, the neat was a little dry from being over cooked. We would not return.

I only gave it a 1 star so it could let me write a comment. I arrived around 6:45pm on a sat and the sign outside said they close at 8pm so i stand in there for a few minutes mind you im the only one in the restaurant while they are cleaning and then turns to me and said they are closed its not even 7pm. The attitudes and looks were immature and impolite. I will never return and will let people know about them!!!!!

Had a really enjoyable experience. They were probably one of the nices bunch of people I have come across. Open the door for me because I am old n needed help. Served me fast. Prices were good food smelled good . Overall beautify deco I. Felt. Comfortable while I was there wth the music n food n smiles. Come See For. Yourself. GodBless

Best Cuban food in Central Florida. Great food and service. recommend to frequent the place on different days in the week as the menu changes slightly with a couple of meals added or replaced for the specific day, so its like a new experience every visit. The rice and black beans made fresh (not canned).

This place is the bees knees. When ever I eat here I feel happy in my tummy tum tum. Much love. There are also strobe lights and lasers all over the cieling so you know they get down and dirty like true cubanos. Place rules. Try the fried pork balls. Seriously, try them you fool. DO IT !!!!!!!!!!!

NOT a fan, had a steak sandwich the other day and it had aluminum foil in it! The Crab Roll and Empanadas were over fried, it tasted like they were fried more than once! I may try again and hope to have a different experience but I will have to wait for this experience to fade from memory.

Tried for the first time tonight after a couple neighbors raved about their food. The food was amazing, the portions were large and the price was very reasonable considering the quality of the food. I didnt realize how much I liked cuban food until tonight and now will become a regular.

Just went there, it is supposed to be opened at 11 am, it is 11:23 and still closed, we were wating for 20 minutes, there were people inside there, they saw us waiting and nobody came out to say I am sorry at least!!!

Why in the world would I go to brandon for cuban food? Even if this wasnt a good restaurant there are plenty others in lakeland. I dont have to drive more than 10 min to find another cuban eatery. Worth tyring...

Ive eaten here several times never disappointed. Good food, friendly service. If youre looking for a steak sandwich try Louie Macs. This is a good local Cuban eatery with reasonable prices. Going there tonight.

Best ropa vieja Ive had in a restaurant. Generous portions in a wonderful and laid back atmosphere. Also, dont skip dessert and be sure to try some of the Cuban coffee!
