I am not one to write reviews if they are bad( I typically only write good reviews) but this place is horrific!! Being in a high sales position in Jacksonville and a Jacksonville native I was appalled that a local business staff and owner could be downright nasty and rude to a paying customer! My order was messed up so I called and the girl I spoke to on the phone was rude at first informing me that I could bring my sandwich back or come and get my money back. She was very abrasive on the phone not in the least bit apologetic! In my opionion, if you had messed up the order then they should refund my money and not charge me for my sandwich. When I arrived I would have been satisfied with an apology and another sandwich but the woman owner was also very rude to me when I asked to speak to her she yelled across the counter saying " Just tell me what you need!" I started to explain to her what happened and rudly she said "look all I can do is give you another sandwich or give you your money back!" I took my money and left. I was so shocked at what had occured! This happened once to me at Jimmy Johns and the manger himself got on the phone apologized, then proceeded to give myself and my two employees free subs! As a small business, you should treat every customer like gold because you should be lucky to even have your doors open in this economy! The woman owner is scathingly nasty and this deli should not be in business! I would not recommend this place and will be telling everyone I know and my clients about my horrible experience!

i stop here almost every morning on my way to work. the service is fast and the food is great. the portions are more than generous and the prices are spectacular. so far i have ordered the breakfast special with 2 eggs(s.s.u.), the ham and cheese omelette and the triple decker ham and turkey club. none have disappointed and i can get marble rye with anything which totally rocks! all my coworkers constantly ask me where i get all the tasty food and i never hesitate to recommend Broadway Deli. the staff has been totally friendly and having a super cute girl to take your orders certainly doesnt hurt either. if i had more thumbs they would be up two will work for now. keep up the good work Broadway!

I love coming to this place!!!! Everyone is awesome and if you have ever been to a Real New York deli , youd know that once youve come a few times. Thats it, you will never have to order again. They know my order and its always quick and with a smile. As for the other guy complaining about the phone. Get up and stop being lazy and drive down , it doesnt take 30 minutes to get your food!! Its usually only 5-10 !! Thats whats wrong with people they dont know the value of face to face customer service.!!! Trust me if you enjoy good ,quick breakfast or lunch , check this place out and if you frequent it enough theyll remember your name !!! Thats excellent customer service !!!!

I love this place. The steak and cheese is delicious. I read some of the comments about the customer service, and I think that those people need to get out of their feelings. The cashier is awesome, she is quick. She might not seem cheerful, but its because she has a line of customers on their lunch break. She tries to move quickly to get you in and out. You dont have to have a convo with me, I came for the food. If you are looking for someone to shoot the breeze with you, go to BoJangles or Wendys, I am sure they have plenty of time to talk with their nasty food.

I have had a friend order from there and the food was actually pretty good. however, today when I placed an order myself the manager was SUPER RUDE and totally did NOT try to handle the situation with any type of professionalism. Customer Service goes a VERY LONG WAY and in no way whatsoever did she CARE to settle the situation. Went as far as telling me she has EVERY RIGHT to refuse service and when told that a review was going to be written she said and I quote "you can write your momma for all I care". WOW! So there you go!

Called their phone number to place an order at 12:45 on a Tue and the phone rang until it timed out. Called 5 times in a row. I can understand a restaurant being busy during rush lunch hour, but I would imagine they should have some sort of system where they can place someone on hold or leave a message and get back to the person. They just lost an order from my office. Who knows how many more people tried to place an order over the phone and they lost that business too. Also no option to order online. Its 2017 not 1997.

I love this place you get more than what you give , I see the other reviews saying they are abrupt and short with you but I think they are nice to you if you are nice to them . I go often and have never had a bad meal . If you show your butt they dont have to take it because they own the place but I can promise you nothing is ever personal and they are some of the nicest people when treated like you would want to be treated. Great food at a great price.

I have been coming here twice a week for 4 years and always enjoy the daily special. I decided to put a review because the negative comments about the service is unwarranted. They are quick and efficient even when the line is teally long. If the cashier (who has been there for the 4 years Ive been coming) was chit chatty and took time with each customer lunch would take an hour.... I love her matter of fact accurate with the order manner is perfect!

I tend to go there WHENEVER I get a chance mainly for a fast breakfast! The service is Awesome, quick and memorable! The remember my usual order and drop it on the flat top ON SIGHT! I love it! Healthier than ANY drive thru btw... Dont think twice about eating there. Just Go for it!
