I had an embarrassing and awful/terrifying experience in this store. I used to be a regular at this location. I love the coffee and I am willing to pay the extra bucks in order to have the "Starbucks experience". Oh well, lately that has not been the case. The poor customer service I have experience in this particular location ( I live down the block so it is the closest to me) has been getting from bad to outstanding worse/frightening. Despite past experiences of poor customer service ( that have been reported to Starbucks representative, with no change or better outcome though) I walked in tonight. I was greeted by a lady with red medium length hair and glasses named Charrisa. She seemed very rushed and with no interest in making eye contact or offering customer service.Ordered a drink , a frappucino, and expedited me to wait at the end of the bar. I acknowledged and complied. I was the first in line when I walked in the store. After waiting for 10 min , I realized that 4 drinks were made for people who were after me in line. I politely asked if they maybe forgot my drink. The same lady with red hair answered that I am third in line. I mentioned that all those four drinks were made before mine. Her rude answer was " those were simple drinks and yours has to wait third in line". I, like any other person waiting, got upset. I told her, without disrespecting her in any way, that I was first and it is not fair to have to wait this long while she is preparing other drinks for people after me. At this point THE BARISTA KICKED THE GARBAGE BIN, TURNED HER BACK AND STARTED MUMBLING AND CURSING ME. All this happened in front of other customers and in front of my friend. Needless to say I was very embarrassed and did not say anything else. She then proceeded to turn around and visibly whisper something to Zara, the other barista sitting at the register now, and they both started laughing at me. Again, this was the most embarrassing experience in my life in a context where I have to pay for my drink and be cursed at by an employee of no fault of my own. I think that a multinational company like Starbucks which is well known and little pricey should never allow an employee with anger management issues to treat customers in this way no matter what situation they are put in. No manager was on duty at that time, so I have to personally return during the day in order to get in contact with one. I was scared to even ask for a supervisor when I heard that lady banging and hitting the garbage been, while slamming the blender cap and visibly displaying violent behavior.I strongly encourage a general/district manager to come to the store and check the cameras and the audio feed in order to verify the authenticity of my story and further take action. This is my nth complaint in the past few months about this location and its poor employees, but tonights experience is something me and my friend will forever tell our friends and family about and post on social media about.

I will never go back. The guy behind the counter lied directly to my face and allowed a guy standing behind me to walk around inside with a large python around his neck. I politely aked the batista to ask the guy to wait outside because ONE pets are not allowed inside the store and TWO you are serving food and drinks while a snake slithers around inside. He told me "it says on the door that people can have their pets inside and I cannot ask him to leave." I checked the door, which says "pets are not allowed, only service animals." The guy could have easily asked him nicely to wait outside while his girlfriend ordered his drinks. Do you really want to drink and eat food served by liars and unfriendly service. I have been coming here for years and I have never had someone act so appalling. I will not be coming back. You never know what kind of trauma someone has been through and there is a reason they dont allow pets around food or drinks. Do the right thing and stick to the required FDA rules. GROSS! Dont go here, I wouldnt recommend it to my worst enemies.

By far my favorite Starbucks in the area... Seating was a problem before, but since the renovation, there is plenty of seating throughout the day for study groups, business meetings, or just to chill on your laptop. Really great place to study, especially on Saturday and Sunday evenings when it is dead. I come in the afternoon/evening, but the evening staff is great; Mel, Mike, Alex, Kent, , the hipster blonde girl(sorry I forgot her name), and the rest of the staff is just awesome. You can tell everyone has a strong bond, and they always joke around and want to talk with their regulars. Also, since the renovation the store has a really laid back contemporary vibe, I absolutely love it. It is very spacious. This is a busy location, and so when it is packed, expect the wifi to really lag. I bring a mobile hotspot if here when I know it will be busy...

This is the worst Starbucks in the world. The people working at this location are rude, incompetent and have no customer service skills. There are always customers smoking outside and the manager doesnt care The manager is unprofessional. His name is Amauri. He is also nasty and doesnt treat the customers nicely. They need to get a new manager in this store. There is always a line of people waiting and the drinks are never prepared properly. Too bad Kent left. He was the only professional, intelligent one who worked there. The manager Amaury needs to GO !

Great location. Good selection of outdoor seating on the corner. Close to the beach! However bathrooms are not what Id call clean, locked and the staff wont let you in until you prove you bought something. Also the staff was very rude and not helpful. In my experience a rarity among most Starbucks locations. When I ordered a simple pour over Veranda coffee (of which the sign clearly said above it "Pour Over Available", the barista was very upset with me and kept trying to get me to just have the pre-brewed drip coffee

Today, 28th of july 2015, was the first day in my life that I get SCREAMED AT from Starbucks ladies because I dare to say raspberry cheesecake instead of Cheese danish !!! What happened to customer is always right? The customer service go, went, goooone OUT OF THE WINDOW since the employee turnover in 2015. I tried to get their names but their tags are misteriously hidden.

The manager Beau is nasty. We use to buy coffee drinks daily at this location. We avoid going there now. If you want customers to be faithful and buy from you, best to check your attitude at the door. We will not take our visitors there any longer. We will not go there again.
