Where to begin. I reserved a table for two for the Valentines Dinner special on Feb 14, 2016 @1830 hours with intentions of fine dining (even though it was a fixed menu) and a great atmosphere. From the start, we (myself and my fiance) arrived early (40 minutes) and were seated by the hostess rather quickly in the dining hall which had a impressive view of the golf course. After five minutes went by, our waitress introduced herself and asked us what we wanted to drink. We gave our drink order and didnt see her again (not once in the dining hall) until fifteen minutes later when she arrived with our drinks. She then asked if we were ready to order from the selected menu. We both said yes and submitted our orders. We both asked if we could get a bread basket or something to nibble on while we waited for our order to arrive. The waitress stated that she could do that and would be back. Another twenty minutes elapsed and didnt see the waitress at all though another individual (Im assuming the cooks helper) was delivering food to the other table behind me. After another five minutes elapsed from the sight of the helper, we both agreed to leave as the service was horrendous and walked up to the hostess for the bill on what we had to drink and paid it. The hostess decided to see what the hold up was with the order and came out with the first course in her hand and asked us if we were willing to sit down again and finish were we started. I flat out said "NO" and we left. Now here is my rant. First off, the menu selection. Who in there right mind offers escargot or crab cakes as a selection on the first course and nothing else. Always offer something that is a non-seafood item. Have you heard about people not liking crab cakes or escargot. Maybe some people have shellfish allergies. Who knows, but the chef or management should have caught this right away. I even asked if I could get a substitute and was told "No" by the waitress. The waitress stated "this is all that is being served". I can say that you had a better selection in the second, third and fourth course. Second, the customer service. Not sure if management is to blame or the waitress. Not sure if the waitress was over worked. From the start, the dining hall that WE were seated in wasnt that busy. Maybe there was another area that the waitress was working that I wasnt aware about. I dont know, regardless, she wasnt around to make sure that the patrons were being looked over. Also, to top that, you had another employee (Chefs helper) handing out the food when that was the job of the waitress. So again, either the waitress has to be replaced or the get the management to do there job. Third, the Hostess. I respected what the hostess did by investigating on what was the hold up with the first course, though asking us to stay and be seated again with the food in her hand wasnt very appetizing. If she came out with it that fast then how long was that food sitting there? It makes you think! Finally, the drinks. I should not have paid for the drinks as we waited for forty-five minutes with nothing to show for. But being that I have integrity, I did. I can say this though, I will never be back to eat there again.

There were 6 of us for the Christmas buffet. I am not one who is terribly fussy and was glad to be going out for dinner even though it was quite expensive at $50 per person plus 20 per cent tip, $60 per person. However, this was so awful I am compelled to write my first ever review of a restaurant. The buffet was an imbarassment . The two salads were no more than a bowl of field greens with a few random cucumbers and pieces of fruit and the other was just romaine. The carving station was a prime rib that was so rare that anyone who wanted it otherwise was relegated to a very fatty ham. No turkey. The vegetable mixture was fresh and good, but not good enough to make up for what were supposed to be mashed potatoes. They are hard to describe: cold, dry, chunky....? Mac and cheese and some white fish made up the dinner choices. The rest was breakfast fare: bacon, sausage, frittata, waffles, potatoes. Deserts were pathetic. What appeared to be a cannoli had a shell like a cracker or cookie, there was no bread pudding left ( for a 2pm seating?) The cookies were clearly package cookies like you would get in a groceries store. The coffee came in styrofoam cups. My description doesnt do it justice because it sounds too good. Six people, all very different, were of one mind, this was awful and the biggest rip off any of us had ever experienced. I will never return here and will tell everyone I come in contact with to never go here. 6 people @ $60 a head is $360. That is otherwise known as an outrage!

My wife and I decided to have our wedding here June 17th. It took us a while to choose the right spot for us, but after meeting Andrea and seeing the main Edison room we knew we had the right spot. We worked with Andrea for months and she made us feel like we were her #1 clients. She made preparing for the wedding a breeze and worked with our DJ and photographer on times. My favorite thing about the experience was Andrea’s willingness to be realistic with us as well as working with our budget and times. Weddings are only supposed to happen once and this was our first. Stumbling around planning such an event was daunting, but once again she made it easy. Once the day arrived a little bit of chaos ensued with being 30 minutes late, but Andrea didn’t even blink. We had an excellent wedding that our guests loved. The food was absolutely amazing and the waitresses, bartender, chef at the carving station were so welcoming that it made us feel like we were royalty. I highly recommend this venue for weddings or events as the give it their absolute all!

Been to this restaurant a couple of times, never a real "hit" for us however this weekends last visit was by far the worst ever one can experience. Reservations for 5:30 didnt get out till almost 7:15, thats only because we had to yell for our waitress who didnt deem it necessary to keep an eye on us for anything beverages, food, ANYTHING! Cold soup served an hour and en minutes after being seated in an over cramped booth. dinner out thirty minutes after cold soup. Drink refills dont happen, sympathy isnt given-oh wait we were given 3 coupons for "free" appetizer after the purchase of 2 entrees YEAH RIGHT! And then plastic was in my ahi tuna salad, so they tried giving us a "free" dessert that my husband had already paid for! Nothing was done to make right by this situation, and the "excuse" given was that they were hosting a wedding in the other half of the restaurant.................If you cant host a wedding and keep the restaurant open, then dont keep the restaurant open!

4 glasses of 50% off cheap house wine, maybe a 4 oz pour, 1regular martini, and 1 watered down well brand on the rocks, and " 3 free ladies dinners", for the 3 of us came to $49.00 - They charges us a 20% added undisclosed Gratuity on the "Free Food" and on the drinks. Total bill - $48 Total Tip $16 -This is a 33% tip! Total bill $64 - No menu specials disclosed any prices or added Gratuity and did not mention that they charge this free food and the full drink prices to your bill then back out the discounts only to charge you Gratuity on the full prices. Next time youre told 1/2 price house wine and Free food - ask how much the wine is at full price and if the food if really free. We felt totally deceived and none of us will ever go back. I was hung up on when I called to complain. They should be ashamed of running this type of Scam in this economy.
