There are a lot of restaurants options in the Gulf Coast Mall, and many of them are good. However, Amore is firmly at the top of my list - its great. I have had their pizza many times and I just keep coming back for more. My favorite is the Bianca, but the Mediterranean is also excellent. I love the atmosphere too. Theres something special about watching your pizza being made with all fresh ingredients and then sliding into the massive brick oven. Its all so authentic! One caution - if you want a chain restaurant experience, then Amore is probably not for you. Since its a local company, everything in the restaurant is original, and theres even a good chance one of the owners will be there to greet you. The sad truth for people outside of the local area is that if you want an Amore pizza, your only choice is to come to Fort Myers.

The pizza is good better than the place next door but the service is bad. Two times I have been there and sat outside, the waitress sees me and ignores me. Today we sat down and waited... no waitress for about 8 minutes. So I went inside and got a menu myself and sat back down outside. I made sure the waitress saw me. Waited another 5 to 10 minutes and nothing so I went inside to order the waitress walked by me twice! She said nothing! Even the guy behind the counter who was taking an order from someone else just walked away. I was pretty upset at this point so we left and went down to the other pizza place and was seated right away and had our orders taken and food in front if us in the time I spent here being ignored. Probably will not go back after this.

** Updated Today August 3rd 2017. Our experience has changed drastically as of late when dining at Amore. The staff are completely uninterested in customer service, the tables were not cleaned properly. There are just too many options these days to ignore the basic elements of a good Pizzeria. Will be finding a new spot. ** Our go-to spot for authenticate NY style Pizza! Amore Brick Oven Pizza can be summed up in one word. Fantastic. The delicious pies are priced right, the staff is friendly and the quaint set and setting hit the mood right on the head. If youre around the Gulf Coast Town Center, enjoy mouth watering pizza pie, you owe it to yourself to give this gem a shot!

Horrible! The "Cook" was wearing a tanktop (not professional), but not wanting to judge a book by its cover, I decided to still give the place a chance. The restaurant was empty, we ordered a Pizza, paid and waited. After 20 minutes or more I asked about the pizza, the "Cook" pulls out a burnt dark pizza. I asked for a refund, the guy seemed annoyed, and didnt give any type of empathy. Basically he was trying to have my family and I just to leave. Whan I asked for the manager, he claimed that he was the manager. I did get a refund at least for the pizza. Dont waste your time here. I truly hope the owners will hire better people to tend to their patrons.

This place is great! I was in there this weekend and had a white pizza with basil and tomato. I cant for the life of me remember what its called on the menu. This was my first time eating here and I have to say: I am impressed. The pizza was perfect and the crust was great. Good size for the money. Tip: try the fried mozzarella. I met the owner, Barry, who is a great guy. You can tell he really cares about the place and the food he puts out. The place was spotless when I went in there (did I mention how good the food was?) If youre at Gulf Coast Town Center, skip the chain restaurants and step in to Amore. You will be glad you did!!

No second thoughts on this recommendation. Amore is head and shoulders above other pizza restaurants in the area. Its hard to over-emphasize what a difference using fresh ingredients make in the final product. Ive eaten in the restaurant a couple of times and love the Bianca. Its New York style at its best. I tried their delivery service through Grubhub and there were no problems. However, theres nothing like going into the restaurant and experiencing all the smells and sounds of a unique. locally owned establishment. Plus, they even have San Pellegrino! Thanks, Amore, for being different!

Wow. Walked in and was greeted nicely. Put in food order and then went to the restroom. OMG ! Nastiest bathroom I have ever been in. Have been to outdoor concert portacans that were cleaner. This bathroom was a unisex facility. Had not been cleaned in weeks/ months. Was scared to touch anything including sink to wash my hands. Kinda lost my appetite wondering what the kitchen looks like. Will never return and wish I could get my money refunded. GROSS

Italian Chef from New York here. I was wishing for ravioli and that is what I ordered. Let me start by saying it was only five raviolis that is not enough to feed a five year old boy. They were drowning in sauce. The sauce was disgusting and unedible. The chef should be embarassed for serving this atrocity of a meal. The raviolis were overcooked and swimming in a tin tasting sauce..taste like a dirty nickle..shame on you for serving this garbage

Amore has an excellent mom and pop atmosphere about it. That, along with the friendly and personable service makes for a pleasant experience. Thats not mentioning the food. Solid options for apps, salads, and pizza. For me though what sets Amore apart are the pastas. They are truly awesome, my favorite is the chicken Alfredo but after having the baked ziti, bolognese, and penne alla vodka I can say they are all delicious!

You will have many choices of pizza places and Italian restaurants in the Ft. Myers area but at the Gulf Coast Town Center, go to Amores. Solid pizza, well done pasta entrees and tasty sandwiches. Talked with the owner who also doubles as a waitress. She took very good care of us and the other customers. Food was generous and cooked well. Very good lunch experience after Sunday mass. Go to Amores and enjoy!

Did a carryout order. I asked for 1 dozen garlic rolls, as per the menu. I got back home and counted the garlic rolls. The tray was filled, but there were only 10. I got the 1 dozen (12) garlic rolls because it was a better value than the half dozen (6). But if they only give you 10, not 12, then they should either lower their price or actually give you what the menu clearly states...

I ordered a supreme pizza .. All the toppings were like in the middle.. Like a pile.. The service was very very slow .. It was a sat and they only had one server and one cook... On top of everything i had a 9 yr old daughter and the server had such short shorts on i could see parts of her butt cheeks.. My daughter asked me why does she where such little clothes dad its gross..
