I was just there on Thursday afternoon, had a beer. The bartender (Chez?) rattled off her IPAs (about 8 or 10) with no problem. Ive seen a review that said it was "smoky" in there. Thats not possible, there is no smoking inside, maybe it was because of all the dark wood in the place. They have recently re-finished all the railings and they are much lighter in color. That, plus the new hanging lights over the upper-level booths make the place look brighter. The menu is great, the portions are huge, the staff is friendly and proficient, the beer selection is huge and diverse. They have a bunch of beers on tap and in bottles, so there is bound to be something you like. The menu is English pub stuff, I guess (never been in one). The only disappointing item is the french fries, which for real English fisn-n-chips should be hand-cut, not bagged fries, right? Its all great. Food, beer, shots, entertainment, youll have a good time, I guarantee it!

poor quality food if you make a complaint they give you excuses have never been offered something else its kind of like it or lump it attitude they couldnt care less there beef is fatty and you make a complaint they act like roast beef is fatty they give you a lot of badly cooked food shepherds pie is greasy and being english i have never seen cheese on top. there salads are unhealthy they should try some lighter food for people who like to eat light and healty there entertainment is good on monday night when linda is there thats what we go for certainly not there food wine is just expensive plonk a good pub has a variety of good wine the owners need to go to england and see how an english good class pub is run but then who cares they rake the money in there menu is so old it hasnt changed in years i think some people go because customers are usually friendly there wait staff is pretty good some of us miss there best server paul

After walking in, we were quickly greeted and walked to our table by a friendly host. Our server took our drink order and dropped off menus quickly. When our server brought over our drinks we placed our food order. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich with a side of mashed potatoes and yellow rice. As I write this my mouth is watering wishing I had that chicken breast, it was juicy and the flavor was fantastic. Ive had their blackened chicken wrap before and loved it, so I hoped this would be the same. Now, lets talk about mashed potatoes..... WOW!!! The brown gravy makes these perfectly textured potatoes even more incredible. The rice was what one would expect. Ill definitely be back for more.

I was on a date here last week whent this rude fat bartender (she probably wasnt even one) was checking my ID with someone for like 2-3 minutes when thats literally never happened before, Im 21 and have drinken at bars at least 3 times before that. Then the woman was still having an attitude in front of me and my date. The other lady apologized to me and said she was new but for real. Just because my ID is a state ID and not a license. IT IS STILL A DAMN STATE AUTHORIZED ID with a damn STAR MEANING ITS REAL AND IVE HAD IT FOR OVER 3 YEARS NOW. Tell that lady she needs service skills. Not only for assuming. But for having an attitude afterwards.

I have been going to cricketers for years and I have always appreciated the great food and service. I wanted to write about my recent visit. For my birthday I reserved a table for 14 and they were able to provide us with a great table with wheelchair access for someone in my party. The service was outstanding we all had a great time and my birthday party was a success. THANKS to everyone there!! Cricketers is a great place to eat drink, play trivia or just watch the game. If you havent been there give them a try youll be glad you did.

This place is one of my faves even though at times it irritates me. When its great its great, when its bad its bad. After being a frequent customer for quite some time Ive learned that it really depends on the quality of your server here. There are a couple of waitstaff we refuse to deal with because of multiple negative occasions. Putting them aside, its a great cozy place to go for some delicious food (just not the steak, never get the steak)! Stick with the burgers, salads, onion rings, and fish & chips!

We went there for dinner, had the haddock fish & chips and the crab cake dinner - both were very very good and the portions were huge. We couldnt finish our meals. Our server was attentive. What was really surprising though was the live music - Im not a huge fan of live music many times because its usually best enjoyed while drinking heavily (I dont drink alcohol) but the music was INCREDIBLE (a compliment I dont give lightly). Weve been back several times since and each time it was just as good.

Ive had a lot of fish n chips over the years, but the fish n chips at Cricketers is truly outstanding. Couldnt be more authentic unless it was served in newspaper in some dive off High St. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is what youd expect in any true pub, and the wait staff is exceptional. Ask for Cameron; youll not find a more competent and attentive waiter anywhere. Order a black and tan, fish n chips, sit back relax and enjoy the day.

This is my go to spot on Thursdays (ladies night, check it out), and one thing in particular made me want to write this review. They have THE BEST staff around. Always amazing food (try their wings). I hadnt been in in a few weeks but tonight my bartender, Audi, asked me "hows your new job?" I was astounded she remembered me getting a new job from weeks ago when this place has so many regulars! Thank you Audi! You made my night!!

Love the food and the pub... HATE the live music. Especially since its the first night of MNF. Especially since theres only 3 people listening to the caterwauling. Especially since the "live music" is essentially one mans attempt at karaoke. Get rid of the awful "entertainment" and host Premiere League on weekend mornings, along with brunch (you have the menu items to do it) And this would be an amazing pub!!

Im English so i was excited to find an English pub in the area after just moving here. WOW They should be shut down by the Queen for flying the Union Jack outside. I could write a book here describing the disgusting food and even worse service but all im going to say is stay away, especially if your British and know good food. This is the worst English pub Ive been in this side of the pond.

We have been here 2 times and both times the food was great! Just make sure youre not in a rush when you come here. The service is pretty crappy. Very slow getting drinks (even water, I had to ask twice for a refill), took forever to get a box for my leftovers and to get the check. When we did finally get the check, we got someone elses bill.

My family really loved this place. The portions are huge with the haddock hanging off the plate and the chicken tenders fed all three of my small kids. My kids said they were better than Publix. My wife loved the shepherds pie and took half home. Get the fried Mars bar, it was amazing. Not very expensive for all of the food you get.
