I finish shopping at the Dollar Tree and walk over to look at the menu from the window outside the Hunan Wok. I look inside and see two men watching me looking eager for my business. I walk in and see a worker eating from a pan/wok that is used to cook in, already I see what type of establishment this is chalking up to be. I request the General Tsos Chicken combination dinner and pull out my card and ask if they take debit, he grabs my card and says ,"no credit", and swipes my card then waits to see if it goes thru, now granted if I was not able to run credit my debit card gets an extra charge. So Im already upset, then I see one of the chefs take a bucket of chicken from the floor under the fryer and drops pieces of it to fry. Meanwhile my wife goes to the bathroom and in the hallway there is a man sitting on a milk crate cutting snow peas, she told me there is a sign that says ,"keep bathroom door closed", I probably see why. My food was cooked and done in 3 minutes very odd by any restaurant standards. I look around and take in the place and thats when I see chicken bones on the floor and food crumbs all over. I come home to begin to eat and the chicken is soggy there is hardly a cup of pork fried rice and the egg roll is stale. The experience was terrible, the food not appetizing and overall, NEVER GO AGAIN. I recommend the China Wok in the PUBLIX Plaza instead. If I can give negative stars I would.

I took a recommendation of this place after hearing it was a great spot to get some Asian Food for a great price. I believe I got the Chicken Teriyaki on the sticks, fried dumplings and a side of rice. The food was prepared in a decent amount of time. If you look behind the counter, you can actually see the food being prepared as you wait. Once the food was done, it was prepared in several nice packages including a bento box for the rice. KAWAII! Its best to eat inside their location as it is clean and quiet. Most importantly the food was excellent with a nice flavorful and juicy taste. The dumplings, chicken and rice were all good, no complaints. A quick note; they do not serve refreshments from the counter but there is a cooler in the back that offers very cool water. Great place for a quick dinner!

I am EXTREMELY UPSET!!! It was our first time going in to this restaurant tonight and it will be our last. I sent my 4 & 6 year old to the bathroom and there were 2 employees smoking cigarettes in the hallway to the bathroom. My 4 year old son came out saying they offered him a cigarette. My husband went in there and the 2 employees were saying none of them said anything so my husband asked our 4 year old who it was and they said it was just a joke, trying to laugh it off. We had to walk out because at this point it was beyond ridiculous what was happening. First off WHO OFFERS A 4 YEAR OLD A CIGARETTE!?!?!??! And secondly how are they smoking inside a restaurant?!?!?!? I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN THIS LOCATION!!!

Very bad place. This is the location in the same plaza as the new Wal Mart in Dania Beach They have a rat infestation and the people working there are filthy pigs. You are guaranteed to get very sick from their food. This place should be shut down by the health department for sure. Do not believe any good reviews about Hunan Wok. This place is hazardous to your well being, SERIOUSLY DANGEROUS. If you must have Chinese food in the area go to the Hunan Wok at 382 Dania Beach Blvd. THEY SHARE THE SAME NAME but Its cleaner and better than this SCARY DUMP . They are no longer affiliated.

I am from Chicago and I have tasted good Chinese food. The owner is very nice and remembers his regulars. The Quantity of food that you get for the price you pay is well Worth it. I have been ordering from this restaurant for 3 years and I eat Chinese at least 2 times a month I have tried the rest but this place it the best. Did I mention that the food stays hot at least 30 mins after you pick it up. As long as I live in the 3 county south Florida Area I will ONLY ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT AND THE 407 E. Sheridan Location. Robert...I need a free sesame chicken!!!

I happen to have ended up in Dania Beach, FL and my boyfriend and our friends were looking for some cheap but tasty chinese food like our usual spot in Orlando. I have to say that I was very impressed with the reviews, so that is definitely what made me want to go here. Once we got there I was blown away at the level of customer service, as well as how quick they were. And not to mention the great prices. If you are ever in Dania Beach, FL you must visit Hunan Wok. Keep up the good work guys!!!

Better customer service than most higher class restaurants that I have been to. The man at the counter (the same one that answers the phone usually) does everything he can to accommodate my wife and me. We are both vegans and we can sometimes be a bit picky and lengthy with directions but he always makes sure our order is done right. He even calls us back to double check before the delivery or pickup if he isnt sure. I highly recommend this place. Oh and the food is good too.

I ordered The general Tao chicken Combo, And I have got to say... I feel bad I didnt leave money in the Tip Jar. I will defiantly leave extra next time I go. WOW. This was the best Chinese food I have had in a long time. The chicken was so moist, and flavored just right. The egg roll was perfect. The pork fried rice is the best I have ever had. I give it 2 thumbs up, and the price is perfect!!! The staff is great, and I hope you get a chance to check this place out!

I try to order my food for the first time because Im new to the area and this man kept asking what I want Im trying to tell him my order he was so rude he putme on hold and took another order, he ask me again Im trying to tell him again he was rude, that place needs more friendly and patients never ate there but I guess it was better off not too

Best Chinese Food in South Florida. The fried rice has a Lot of Flavor but is Not too salty and it isnt greasy. I have ordered takeout, dined-in, and ordered takeout here for two years and have never had a bad experience. The owner is friendly and he remembers patrons after only a couple visits. I always look forward to coming here!

I wont go anywhere else. I will actually drive out of my way to come here and have the best chinese food. Been coming here for 6 years. Food is ready in 10 seconds after I order. Never a mistake. Always delicious. Never tried something I didnt like. They know me by name which is nice. Highly recommended.
