Honestly this place is so cute, and the ice cream is great. This terrible review is for service. I took my son when he was 2 months old for the first time and now took him again on his one year old birthday so he could have his own ice cream cone. I told the lady as soon as I walked in that it was his birthday and I would love a small kids cone for him, her reponse was " we have a cup " no happy birthday,& she didnt offer me any other cone sizes. She was a bit rude. Nobody acknowledged his birthday, I know they usually post a photo,and look super welcoming online but nobody even mentioned taking a photo, or even recognizing my sons birthday. A family (in their forties might I add) was sung happy birthday to with a candle by the entire staff after Liam had already had his ice cream. My grandma went and mentioned again that it was his birthday and the lady said "oh happy birthday " to my grandma and walked away. I am really disappointed that we chose to spend my sons birthday here. We did not feel welcomed at all. ;( Will not be spending any more money in this store.

First impression when you walk in, is youve transported back in time to an old timey ice cream parlor. Very nostalgic feel and over-the-top decorations which I loved! In regards to the ice cream...close your eyes and pick any flavor from their selection and you most likely wouldnt be disappointed. Literally every flavor is delicious! (even the weird ones like pikachu, superman, and cookie monster). Its a tiny bit pricey, but definitely worth it for the delicious ice cream and the overall experience of the place! Only con is that its pretty popular so expect there to be a line to the door (and sometimes even out the door). The place is small / cozy with limited seating but somehow a seat always opens up by the time youre done ordering. Check it out and Enjoy!

I created a google+ for the SOLE purpose of making sure I could review this so called ice cream joint. The staff was extremely rude, both were talking it up with a lady instead of helping me and the family of 5 behind me. Just chatting like they didnt have a line of ppl, and when I asked to taste a flavor, he gave me the sample and went right back to the lady while I was trying to ask what was in the ice cream. To top it off when I finally got impatient and interrupted their convo, they gave me my ice cream and how disappointing. It had bits of ice in it (like when ice cream is old and sits too long), and had pieces of other stuff in it...it was just disgusting, waste of my $4.23. Will never go back. Better off going to Cold Stone or Larrys by the mall.

This place is really bad and I never write reviews. The ice cream is sickly sweet and tasteless. My coffee shake appeared to be made with soft serve ice cream and had bits of cookie or coffee crumbles in it which I kept spitting out. The sundae we ordered was extra money due to having an extra topping. Everything was way overpriced and at checkout when I was told it would be $ 16.26, my response was "how is that possible?" So if you want inferior Ice cream which is way overpriced, this is the place to go! You can really get a better sundae at McDonalds or any other ice cream shop in the area. So my recommendation is to AVOID this place at all costs. It pure phony baloney!

Our visit to Cherry Smash was absolutely wonderful! We were so blessed to have brought our family from out of town comma including three granddaughters. None of whom have ever been there and needless to say, they fell in love with the place. For those of you who have never been here, I can tell you with all sincerity that Cherry Smash give the most discerning adult adolescent a safe place to call home away from home. You walk in the door, you fall back in time, an uncontrollable smile embraces your face and youll have to see the rest for yourself. A genuine "E Ticket Ride" .... Marc & Vickie Ellis

Amazing ice cream joint. Everyone in Broward raves about Jaxsons. But this place is a diamond in the ruff. First of all unlike Jaxsons, they actually let you try any flavor you like. The girl that helped me. Caitlin I believe was her name. She was so sweet and helpful. Offering this suggestion and that. In the end I went with the Pikachu flavor with chocolate peanut butter. Topped with hot fudge, whipped cream and a cherry. Absolutely delicious. If Im ever in the coral Springs area I will be certain to pay them a visit.

Very old fashioned ice cream parlor. Lots of antique looking items on display around the parlor. Chocolate dipped waffle cone with Rum Raisin ice cream was good. Huge Root Beer Float with vanilla ice cream was amazingly large and fantastic. A little pricey, $14 for these two items. Ice cream is good and service is good. Line and ordering process can seem congested and confusing. If you like good ice cream with an old time atmosphere, this is definitely the place to go.

Oh wow!! This place is awesome. From the wild, collage decor to the scrumptious, mouth-wateringly delicious homemade ice cream, its always fun and so good to be there. On busy nights, there can be a problem with crowds, and thats why it doesnt get full five stars - but I wish they could expand a bit. Theyre easily the best ice cream shop in the area. Its the way going to an ice cream parlor should be. Fun fun fun!!

Awesome ice cream place. It is a counter order pay and bring to an open table. Depending on the night sometimes it can get pretty busy and full. There is a decent amount of seating inside and a few tables outside. The place has awesome memorabilia all over the place. There is a running train. And photos of past customers all over. It is definitely a place to stop for that ice cream sweet tooth.

Nice... I had herd alot about this place being amazing for ice cream however....... I dont really think that the ice cream is amazing..... However I do think that it should be renamed and maybe turned into a historic showroom as the place is crowded with old stuff from toy trains, a car pianos boxing gloves and more so I rate it a 5 to come check out all the neat stuff here

This place is awesome. The staff is SUPER friendly and when they found out it was my daughters fourth birthday they made it a very special first visit. The interior was really cool and the desserts were a feast to the eye as well as the palate. Will definitely be back my oldest already has plans to go back on her birthday. Totally recommend this place Im glad I found it.

Ice cream outstanding! Lots of cool items to look at. But to much stuff on display that you cant find a place to sit. The back room filled with old items but it is impossible to see them because tables block this area. They should fill this area with tables so when we come we dont have to stand outside eating it. Our kids are 2,3,&4 so we have to have a table.
