We love Tates! This is such a hidden gem on the beach. If you want to experience the Sandpearl and not pay for a room there or eat at Carettas (Sandpearls upscale dining experience). This is great. The service is amazing and the view is the best on Clearwater beach. A lot of nights they have live music outside. There is always a fire pit right in front of Tats where you can cozy up with a drink as the sun goes down. They pick someone to ring a bell each night when the sun dips below the horizon. A nice tradition that brings something to the atmosphere at Tates. The cocktails are fresh and Ive never had a bad drink from this place. The food is always excellent and if they dont have something you will often hear the server say, "well see if we can make that for you". We love bringing our friends and family here when they come to town.

Tates is right on the beach, so the views are great. They have a very good selection of specialty drinks and an assortment of draft beers. Prices are what you would expect in a resort setting. We ordered the tarpon chicken wrap. The chicken was a bit overcooked and it was light on the taztziki which made for a rather dry dish. The waitstaff were very friendly and checked often to make sure we were ok. Overall a nice place to sit and watch the sunset

Not overpriced at all! The view cant be beat and the food was wonderful, homemade everything. Ashleigh took good care of us! When we came there was a good crowd but not too busy. Certainly not a zoo like so many other places on clearwater beach. Definitely a new favorite place to go!

Great view for sure. Sat right there on the beach before our room was ready at SandPearl. Guacamole was delicious as were the bean burritos. Get the bartender to pour a little more booze in the cup though. Need to also figure out how to clean the sand off the tables better.

Foods ok we go for the views and the kids can play in the sand. Loss of stars is for the price of food and liquor. Yes I know its on the beach that why its kinda expensive and that being said I will go back

Id give this 1 star if it was just based on their coconut shrimp, but the pulled pork burger might be the best thing Ive ever eaten.
