I have been ordering Chinese take out from Golden Wok for the past 3 years and I will continue to do so. I noticed a change in the staff recently which compelled me to make a review. The new girl working at the front is seriously impressive. A couple of weeks ago I ordered from her over the phone for the first time and picked it up. Today when I called in, she remembered my order and immediately recognized me when I walked in the door. Never have I had that kind of service. The food is great. Reasonably priced. Huge portions. SURPRISINGLY good customer service!

live 3 minutes away from this place. And I dont have a car at the moment. I called them up to get delivery. They told me they will not deliver to me. They said I live to far and then they hung up on me. SO, I called them back and told them that I live 1.5 miles from them and they screamed at me and said they wont deliver to me and hung up. Very unimpressed.. *UPDATE* I went into the shop to pick up an order. They did a good job. I asked the woman why they wouldnt deliver to me since Im 1.8 miles away. She said she doesnt know why I was told that.

Portions and Price were fair. But certainly not my idea of good Chinese. Fried rice the chicken just seemed to be thrown in after it was cooked. not like it was even cooked with the rice. the people were friendly when we picked up our order, but there was a heavy greasy smell about the place. Like the fry oil needed to be changed. Dont think I will be returning.

This is the best Chinese food in Bradenton hands down! They are very friendly and super nice. I never wait more then 15 minutes for my food and I have never had a problem with this place or the people who work here. They know me right when I come in and what I am going to order!

We always do take out from here. They are a bit short with you on the phone and borderline rude. I believe its because they are too busy to keep up and dont have a choice but to be quick on the phones. Food is excellent and we continue to put up with the phone ordering.

Food was horrible! Fried dumplings were burned badly, bourbon chicken was dry, General tsos was sickly sweet. The only decent thing was the crab wontons. I would have gone to Nam Fong but they were closed for vacation. Trying this place was a huge mistake!

YUM! Im always wary trying a new Chinese restaurant. It can be awesome, or horrible and its almost impossible to tell by first impression. A friend ordered us delivery from here, and now its the only Chinese food place I order from.

Golden Wok is a traditional "New York style" Chinese take out. Ive been picking up (not delivery) for over 10 years... Great food, good service, in 10 to 20 minutes max!
