Yes, theres a regular crowd who use this place as a neighborhood gathering place. There is a reason, the atmosphere is nice, the service is pleasant, and the food is spectacular. This is a pizza place with a twist. The kitchen is open to the restaurant so you can see some of the culinary activity. We have eaten there twice and both times the food was to die for. On quiet off season week nights you may be lucky and get the manager as your waiter. Hes a super person and if you are unsure about which wine to choose with which entre you wont go wrong with his recommendation. If the place is jammed full dont expect special treatment. The wait staff is moving as fast as they can. If youre in a hurry go to Applebes or Outback Steakhouse theyre just down the street. Gios has food that rivals the tratorias of NYC. So, if you want great food in a neigborhood bar atmosphere, this is the place to dine.

The Chicken Parmesan is a joke! Do not waste your money! For $15 we got 2 tiny, pounded thin slivers of chicken and pasta. We had never been before and ordered to go. It wasnt until we got home, we saw the measly meal! Very dissapointing. The pizza was really good but not worth going back for after we got screwed on the chicken. Very slow bartender also. The restaurant could really be set up better too. There was a big table right by the doorway by the bar serving no purpose but taking up space...should put seating there for people who are waiting! Instead, people had to hover over our table since the bar was full while they waited! Our waiter was great, though.

Ok... so GIOS is now named 60 East ..... I just went to try the place out as I have been there right after new owners took over. The food is now really good and the Martini Menu is Top Shelf.... I tried 4 of the NEW Martini Selections and liked every one I tried.... I give them lots of credit as buying a store with Legacy issues are very hard to overcome.... They have managed to achieve this..... This will be a regular stop for me!

I been to Gios many times. The pizza has gone from good to mediocre. Skimpy on the cheese. I always get a glass of ginger ale as my drink. My waiter said this time they dont serve ginger ale and when I said they had it at the bar to make mixed drinks he came back with a sprite with a shot of Coca Cola in it to try and fool me. He got no tip from me and I will never be back.

If you dont sit at the bar (bartender Sasha is great), dont bother. Service is slow and terrible. Ordered a drink in a tall glass, didnt get it. Brought a beer for my husband, never offered a glass. Gave a Groupon coupon after meal, deducted cost of the coupon not the value of it. Unfortunately never noticed until we got home.

There is not a kids menu. The horrible server told me she would give me a "smaller portion" for a child. It ended up being $3 less than the full portion. The martinis are horrible. My chicken should have been blackened and was not. It took forever to get our food. We had to ask for silver wear. I will not go here again.

We were seated quickly and it did not take long at all for us to get served draft Peroni. I had one of their pizzas and was completely satisfied. My girlfriend had a salad which she liked even though she requested it with no cheese and they missed that. We will most likely return to this restaurant.

The pizza was good, but the other dishes came out all wrong. The chicken wasnt blackened, like how it was stated on the menu. Waitress took our phone then left it on the bar unitended on the bar. Completely unprofessional!!! Was our first and last time going to this restaurant!!

We were seated and then forgotten by the staff. Tables around us were promptly taken care of. No one would make eye contact. We walked out after 30 minutes.
