Rarely do I rave about much of anything with regard to food but the Tomato Bleu Soup must be some of the best anywhere in this country. Major claim, I know, but it is that good....assuming, of course, one enjoys Bleu Cheese. Even if one does not, this luncheon delight may be worth risking a taste. Besides, the brick walls, the polished concrete floors, and the high noise factor add its own flavor to the luncheon experience. Highly recommend Central Cafe, Bradenton, Florida

We were hungry but did not want to drop $35 on lunch food (burgers, sammy, or salad) then $3 for a drink (soda) and $3 if you want fries with it. Looked around and nobody had food (slow service perhaps). We left. Im sure its fresh and delish but priced for a 4 star waterfront... not a cafe. Atmosphere was very loud.

Its maybe the only great restaurant in east downtown Bradenton. Awesome spot for lunch or dinner. They have a decent variety, and everything on the menu is tasty. Cozy little spot with nice staff, good wine and beer selection, and quality food that is prepared very well.

Wonderful food and service! The Tomato Bleu soup shouldnt be missed and the desserts are out-of-this-world! I guess this is a popular lunch spot, but it is also open for dinner on Tuesday-Friday until 9:00... we wish they were open on the weekends, too!

This is a must stop restaurant if you love old historic buildings and delicious food. I think that they could use a few more vegetarian options. But the veggie sandwich was pretty yummy.

Came for the Lola wine, left thoroughly pleased with not only the wine but the food as well! I had the pulled-pork taco lunch special and couldnt get over how delicious it looked.

Good grub with a nice twist at reasonable price. Location has not been a problem for the couple of years I have been going there. Excellent service
