Just moved to town and already found my go to place for breakfast and lunch. You know the kind of place where as soon as you walk in the door, the smell of home-cooked food, neat in appearance staff and smiling patrons tell you that you made the right choice? Well this is that place! After reading the reviews I knew I would be stopping in and they (positive reviews) are "on point" with regard to quality, selection, service and price. If the experience my son and I had today speaks to regular occurrence this will be a regular haunt for sure. Our server was Ryan and great service would be an understatement. Checked on us several times although we only had single entries with drinks and I noted him providing the same excellent attentiveness to all of his customers. Another positive, you can see the area where food is being prepared, cooks/ chefs are well groomed, neat in appearance, outside cafe style seating also available, great selection of food items including vegan dished for those of you eating our oxygen supply lol and the menus prices are definitely reasonable but not so much so as to cause worry or concerns about quality, a very good value in my opinion. Oh, and a cup of coffee that would make any Barista proud drinkable from start to finish with nary a grain and tasted fresh roasted to me. Anyone having a less-than-stellar experience at this local cafe must have skipped their meds that day.

Very nice atmosphere. Extremely friendly wait staff. However, the two star rating is for essentially what you go to restaurants for - the food. The creative and unique description of the menu items excited my new wife and I who are down in Anna Maria for our honeymoon. Our excitement was not matched with the taste. Overall our food came out cold, which must have been challenging because I ordered a skillet of huevos rancheros. My wifes rice noodle stir-fry with chicken was also cold and it would have probably been more accurate to call this dish soup as it came in a bowl filled with liquid and the noodles were a bit water logged. I would also strongly advise against the bloody mary unless you like drinking cocktail sauce. It could be that we caught the polite and attentive staff on an off day, but we will never know as we will not be returning. Best of luck Sage Biscuit Cafe.

I would love to give this place 5 stars, but heres why I gave it 3: the food was amazing and savory! The sage biscuits were a delight and not an overwhelming sensation of sage...a good blend. I had an egg white omelet that was delicious with the potatoes that were also very good. The service was what makes this review 3 stars! I understand everyone had an off day, but the staff seemed a bit uppity, annoyed and once we got our food we were checked on 1 time! The place was busy, yes, but Ive been a server and I can still make sure my customers are checked on. The coffee was alright and I didnt get checked on to see if I wanted more, which is never a good sign. I like to tip high, but couldnt do so with this visit. Ive had better breakfast at other establishments in this area. So sad, we were looking forward to this high review place.

I would love to give more stars because their food is always so good but the service needs a lot of work. Ive been here 3 different times, the first time was on a Sunday and they were busy so I figured maybe thats why the service was bad, but the next two times they were not busy. This is the perfect place to get breakfast if youd like to spend two hours at a restaurant. The 3rd time I was there will be the last. We were doing separate checks and not once but twice the waitress got the cards mixed up resulting in a $65 charge on my card, finally the manager came and was able to straighten it out. The food is always excellent but the staff needs work, they dont pay attention and you feel like your constantly reminding them or asking them for something.

okay, i think this place has some of the best breakfast dishes in the world. i was visiting anna maria and i ate here 3 times during my stay. i went with family so i got to taste many different dishes, everything was so good. i dream about this place still and i wake up salivating. the portions are very generous too. many of the breakfast items here are slightly unusual (in that its not a boring bacon and egg breakfast you can make at home), but its not pretentious and they arent doing anything that doesnt make sense. everything just makes sense, all the flavors are amazing, the food is so good. and the sage biscuits themselves are really tasty. staff were always friendly and their coffee (and specialty iced coffees) are good too.

I had tried coming here before but it was too busy to stay. This time I was able to bring my favorite four legged co-pilot and have breakfast outside on a perfect day. I began with a wonderful mimosa, then had a pancake, the Wisconsin three cheese omelette and the most delicious grits Ive had a restaurant in ages. My pup was able to sit and enjoy the meal with me without any hassle. Amy B did an amazing job at taking care of both of us which is much appreciated. The portions were far to big for me to finish alone so I was glad for the help. I definitely recommend this place but call ahead or get on the list fast because space is limited.

We visited two days ago for the first time and the whole family loved it! The food was delish and the service was amazing. The menu caters to all tastes including vegans and gluten free eaters. Our family ordered everything from vegan dishes to sandwiches to coconut pancakes and they all were on point. We also had lattes, one with soy vainilla milk and that too was great. Seven of us ate and took doggie bags to go for around $130.00: big portions, healthy food, good price. This place will not let you down!!

Perfect every time. My favorite restaurant in the area by far. Chic pea salad, chicken salad, fried green tomato BLT, coconut cream pie... Love it. July 1st we returned for breakfast and I am completely delighted with the brioche french toast. I dont like a lot of sweet so I asked to hold the bananas and syrup. The walnuts on the brioche french toast with butter was outstanding. Link sausage was a nice compliment. My eggs were done perfectly. Sage Biscuit is perfect.

We met friends who live in Bradenton here. They recently moved to the area, so I did a little research and found this café. I had the chicken pot pie and my wife had the falafel. The place was really hopping. The food took a little while to arrive at the table, but it was worth the wait. Service was friendly and it was difficult to decide what I wanted to order, everything sounded good. We will return again when we are in the area.

This is one of the "go to "places for us here in Bradenton, If you like fresh healthy food. Every time we have friends or family visiting us we end up at the Sage Biscuit. My wife moves around the menu much like a kid in a candy store, looking to try as many of the different menu options as she can. I have a hard time passing on the apricot stuffed french toast. Be prepared to wait, but I assure you it is worth the wait.
