Very, very good food. I have only been here the one time, it was packed and there was a wait. I didnt have because I was a party of 1. The captins combo was great, it is tilapia, scallops, and shrimp with a choice of 2 sides. All for about $20. For the sides I had the vegetable of the day, which was corn with peppers, and the house salad. The salad is very good, not a typical house salad. Would recommend this place to locals and travelers alike

Fish and chips were good. Crab meat is terrible. I mean gross. I suggest star fish or capt brians same prices. Much better quality food for your money... Capt Brians is one of Sarasotas best choices. Near airport on 41. Star Fish local hole in the wall. Near 119th and Cortez rd on the water. Great food fun place. Prices are close to Anna Marie Oyster bar but fresh food not crap from Sysco. Try them you will see a major difference.

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Dont waste your time!!! Raw appetizer followed by 2 out of 6 raw entrees. The service was subpar and the manager was uninformed and is clueless as to how one should manage customer satisfaction. This was supposed to be an eventful experience with the nice accent of a local seafood meal, but what it turned into was a huge disaster, a waste of money, and most discouraging, a waste of time.

Terrible food!!! My husband and I both had the grouper and it was not worth the price (30$). It tasted like it was frozen and was defrosted wrong. The texture was like rubber and the taste was definitely not fresh! My children had chicken fingers and pizza and both were not good either. I was really looking forward to some good local seafood, this was very dissatisfying and a huge disappointment!!! Never again!!!

Oysters were awesome! Crab cakes also were great! Fish was fresh and delicious. Their house salad has fresh strawberries in it and Im not one for fruit in my salad but the blue cheese crumbles in it made up for it. So the only negatives about this place is the fruit in the salad, the seasoned rice only tasted like soy sauce, and the drunk people that was sitting at the table next to us.

The Cortez location absolutely had the best customer service and the ambient noise was significantly more quiet than their other locations. The managers Ginny and Andi checked on our table and ensured that we had everything we needed. Our waitress Corinne kept our table cleared, and drinks full. This was a better experience than the landslide location by far!!!!

Weve always gone during lunch and have always had a good experience. The food is reasonably priced for fresh seafood offerings. Admittedly, I go when Im in the mood for a dozen of their chilled oysters in a half shell, served with all the trimmings. Never let down. They have a pleasant and theme-appropriate decor, and service has always been good!

As far as seafood restaurants go, this was OK. Regardless of how fresh the seafood was, the portions were very small, even for somebody who is almost alwayssated with a normal sized portion. Our server was prompt but not personable. Homemade key lime pie was a highlight. Perhaps the original location is more authentic/better?

Besides the fact that the place smells like old fish, the food is overall pretty good and reasonably priced. Some odd versions of dishes that are just not right, like the escargot in combination with soggy mushrooms and cheap cheese crumbles. If you like seafood and a drink at a reasonable price, this is the place to go.

Tonight was our first time going here for dinner and we were so pleased with our experience!!! The prices were great with Thursday specials and the staff was awesome. We really felt that the staff cared about us and checked on us often to ensure we enjoyed our food. We will definitely be back, highly recommended ☆☆☆☆☆.

Great food, and incredible value for the price. I had the daily special and for the price, the piece of fish was about twice the size of most places. My boyfriend had the seafood alfredo which included many huge chunks of scallops and fish. We were both super impressed and thought the service was exceptional.

You want great seafood for a great price. This is the place. Service was great too.. Highly recommend this place. We had crab legs and Garlic parmesan oysters. Amazing. Very happy with this place and it says alot when this place is busy on a Thursday night too..Go there you wont be disappointed.

Excellent service, great food, good prices. My only complaint is the lack of a decent beer selection. In this day with so many craft beers to choose from why not have a craft beer on the menu. The Paddy Wagon right next door has about 24 craft beers on tap.

Best seafood on inland cortez road! Fish and chips are fresh! This has the entire aspect of a florida seafood restaurant, with good portions, energetic staff, and themed music, you cant go wrong! Especially on endless fish and chips night.

Great fish n chips. Love the Margarita coupon in the Bradenton Herald. My favorite is Basa Roma baked fish, Make a meal on half price appetisers sometime. A fun place for seniors. Reasonable prices for Early Bird Specials.

Good food and service is decent. Like that kids eat for 1 cent per inch and government discount is available while in uniform. Nice place for friends and family. Its kinda a small place so it gets busy and crowded quickly.

Very good lobster, top notch service by Gabby. The rum punch was a little light on the rum, which was immediately corrected without a quibble. Overall it was excellent and its going to become our weekend to-go spot.

Always great food and service! If you want seafood try the Scallop and Shrimp Skillet with the Anna Maria sauce. A family favorite. Also, love the Nutty Grouper. Great salads too! Food is consistently great!

Been enjoying this restaurant - even before it moved off AMI. We have had many family get-togethers and always feel well fed and happy as we leave. Thursday night prime rib is always a treat for us.
