This is by far, hands down, the BEST Sport Bar and Grill in the Bradenton/Palmetto area. The owners are true professionals as it reflects within their staff, comfortably clean atmosphere, live entertainment, and of course, their food and alcohol choices (which are are executed perfectly). If youre looking for something to do tonight, I feel totally safe recommending JAXX PLAYBOOK Sports Bar & Grill. I will personally be back for many more times to come. - Joe Morningstar

The owners Joe and Linda work at the bar and make you feel like part of the family. Great atmosphere. Linda passes out free jello shots sometimes. Joe will sit in on poker games when its poker night. On one piker night when I played they hooked it up with free soft pretzels and cheese. They have the best Reuben sandwich. They smoke the corned beef, what a great idea! lot of T.V.s. Good people there. Great place!

Ive been to this location on the weekdays and weekends. Its always a great smoke free environment. I had the pulled pork and the smoked wings. I would recommend both. The french fries are hand cut and delicious!! I eat man sized portions of food and Im satisfied with Jaxx portions. The drinks are cheap and delicious. I would recommend for everyone!!

Great pulled pork and smoked wings, Rick the cook works hard at preparing & making your food, friendly staff and owner, great musical entertainment with STEVE ARVEY who plays blues and other genres of music. AND you may just catch HENRY LAWRENCE 3 time Super Bowl Champion of the Oakland RAIDERS stop by to sing a few songs! A LOT of FUN!!

Clean place, nonsmoking bar, quick and attentive and friendly service. We ate the best Cajun wings and had a fun time playing pool here- $1.25 per game but free on Saturdays. Would definitely recommend Jaxx.
