Horribly slow service. Waited over 40 minutes to receive simple pasta entrees on a Monday night. Staff is completely inattentive and unprofessional. Overheard server Cristina tell another employee behind the counter "can you kill yourself?" Donna, our server, did not accurately take drink or food orders nor did not check up on us after the entrees were delivered to see how the lackluster dish tasted. It was disgusting, completely devoid of flavor and color for an Italian dish. Then we sat 20 minutes after we were done just starting at the full plates waiting for the check so we could leave, meanwhile Donna ignored us and stocked cups. After dropping the check off it took another 10 minutes for her to pick up the check. Theres only like 12 tables in the place, theres no reason for the ineptitude and slow pace that all the employees seem to move at.

Everyone is very friendly, and the service is great! My fiancé enjoyed his chicken saltimbocca, and I had the chicken cacciatore. My dish could have used more seasoning, and the chicken would have benefitted from a bit more cooking. They serve a generous helping of chianti as one of their house wines, a great salad dressing, and delicious homemade bread. I would definitely go back, but try a different dish!.

The food was delicious! This Italian eatery is hidden away in a small shopping center, and you definitely have to keep your eyes open or you will pass it. The chopped salad was great, and the portions are generous. I would definitely come back again.

Excellent food at a very fair price! Every one there is so nice. Fried Callamari is AWESOME! Every time! I actually shouldnt post this because then everyone will go there. And there are only a few tables. Very small place. But worth the wait.

The locals love this place and the staff is friendly! Italian food, salads...and American dishes, with plenty to choose from, are served in a timely manner with a smile. The deserts are a big seller. The coconut lemon creme cake is delicious.

Great food in very casual atmosphere ata reasonable price. If it is Italian food you crave, this is the place to go. Pizza, gnocchi, tortellini, various forms of calamari - you name it, they have it. Dinners include salad and rolls.

Being Italian and from an authentic Italian neighborhood, this is the closet to my moms food Ive ever eaten!!! Absolutely delicious and will definitely eat here again!!! The staff was also great and the prices are reasonable.

Pizza was not NY style. Thick mushy pizza just like all of the other places in Delaware. Mussels were okay but would not go again. I can get the same crap closer for less. Delawareans do not know what good pizza is.

Excellent food and service! My Chicken Marcella was the best Ive tasted in years. My wife chose a pasta entry and thoroughly enjoyed a dish of Cavatelli with Broccoli Rabe. I highly recommend Cafe Sitaly.

5 stars for the pizza, really enjoyed the crust. Meals are good, prices are average. The one improvement would be the service, for such a small place service should be more attentive.

Ordered the Chicken Limoncello...very disappointed! Lacked flavor--very bland & boring, did not finish it. My guy had lasagna and said it was good.
