My friend raved about this place. We are there a couple times. It was OK. Your pork fried rice will always be dry as all get out which is sad since it comes with the meal type options. Last time I ate there, violently ill. Violently. Havent even had Chinese in a long time. Tried another place Im not going to put in since this is about China star and my friend who had raved of this place was surprised saying, "oh this is good the meat isnt gritty." You suggested somewhere you thought has gritty meat my friend? That is not good! First impression of the place was it looked a bit dirty. I dont much care about the dreary eating space as its a hole in the wall take out joint. The grity meat for my friend and me violently ill compared to older better reviews tells me this place may have been good back then but has fallen from grace.

I like this place, dont get me wrong they have really great food but i like the chinese restaurant in Torrington better. The one in Torrington has an all you can eat buffet in it and the one in Winsted your best bet is to just pick up your food and go home.

This place is great. My wife and son are Chinese, and really enjoy Tue food here. The roast pork is actually tender and moist, and we always get a great meal no matter what we order.

Ive been going here since I was a kid. Great service,food, and very fast.Ive never had a single bad dish there in fact Im eating there now .the kung po chicken is a must try.
