Very disappointed. The service is terrible and when our waitress did acknowledge us she was rude and short. This place is a restaurant factory! They have multiple rooms and in our room, which was quite big there was only two waitresses. It took us 10 minutes to order a drink then the waitress rushed us to put in our order so I had no time to look over the menu after asking a few questions. We ordered the meatball parm appetizer, $10, which was very good, it came with a small calzone. For dinner we had the veal chop parm, $24, it was ok and I had the ala vodka, my favorite and this was ok at best. I asked for extra sauce, which I never got (I hate when its dry and this was very dry). I got it with shrimp, $24, which I thought was expensive. The red sauce was very sweet, nothing traditional about it. The complimentary bread was a wheat italian bread and not good. No salad included with your meal. A gentleman near us had the prime rib and I have to say, it was HUGE! IF we go back itll be by chance and probably only for pizza.

The food was excellent and the price was reasonable. So why am I unhappy? I ordered a bottle of wine, an inexpensive New Zealand Pinot Noir. The waiter returned with a sample and asked me to taste it. I responded it was fine. At this point the waiter responded that this was not the wine that I ordered but another wine. I was gracious and said it was fine. My question is this. Why does this restaurant have to humiliate me by bringing the wrong wine and then announcing to my friends that I cannot tell the difference between a New Zealand and California wine? Why couldnt they simply tell me the wine was unavailable. It was a $39 bottle of wine. It was not as if they were losing a lot of money. I left a 15 cent tip and will never return to this restaurant again. Either they are going broke or their staff just enjoys humiliating patrons. I personally waited on tables when I was a young man. I would never treat a paying customer in this fashion.

I went there one evening to have dinner with a friend. We ate a bit late and not long after we finished the place became mobbed with kids. They serve underage minors here. The place was mobbed and no one was carded. Not only that, they let them get hammered drunk and then drive. I suspect the older, barely legal young men are buying booze for the young girls who dont know how to handle their liquor. It is disgraceful. Ive filed a complaint with the State Liquor commission. If no one does anything about it, Ill be videoing it to prove it. it will be easy as they stagger barely able to walk out, later. Ill be reporting license plates to the police and then the ages will be revealed. I will shut this place down! The food was unimpressive BTW.

We had a reservation for 6pm.Shortly after sitting our waiter took our drink order and minutes later our dinner order. Our dinner did not come out until 6:50pm. Meanwhile no one ever checked on us other than the busboy refilling our water. The general manager walked by us several times but never stopped to inquire about our experience. Once we got our food, 2 burgers, wings, and flat bread; 3/4 of us were disappointed. Both burgers were pretty raw and tasteless and the wings were very dry. When we asked for the check the waiter never asked how our food was nor did he offer the dessert menu. The place has potential but I wouldnt go back again. I understand Saturday nights are busy but its no excuse for poor performance.

This place used to Be great, after today I will not be dining in or out again. Horrible take out service.. Called to place an order was On hold for 15 minutes which was long enough for me to drive there and place the order in person only to find the hostess chatting with a boy instead of answering the phone .. Witnessed this happen to another caller first hand. My food ha !! They threw my bread into the plastic take out bag with out wrapping it,no bitter no napkins or forks. Pathetic

We recently moved to Fairfield and I was looking for a restaurant to take my wife for Val day. After extensive research we decided to go to Marisa Restaurant. The food was excellent. Wine was great. The service was awesome. Its an excellent place to take your family and friends if you are looking for A+++ restaurant. The price is OK for the excellent service you get.

Amazing, service is great. Everyone was pleasant and accommodating. But, the food....... absolutely amazing. I mean, the chef made my dreams come true. I imagined Brussels, I asked if they were on the menu, No. But somehow, they were on my plate. Romantic environment, nice selection of bourbon, date nite, any night. Ill go.

The prices are a little high but the portions are very big and very tasty. You can get a 4 ounce hot dog with the works for $10 !!! BUT you can get a GREAT hamburger for $12 or their Eggplant Milanese stack for $18. The Eggplant stack is one of my favorites as well as the Tortellini with Veal Meatballs. (about $23)

I wouldnt say inedible but I would never choose to eat there again. PRICES ARE RIDICULOUS!!!!!!! Steak didnt even taste like steak. Try it if you want but my experience was very poor. Probably stick with the Italian part of the menu because it used to be a pretty nice place!

Dueling piano bar is a lot of fun. Probably best suited for a group to really let loose and have some fun instead of a one on one date. Great entertainment, great service and good food. Bring cash to tip for song requests. If youre there for the show be ready to interact!

We went on a Friday night to see piano duet which was a fun experience. Food was outstanding, moderately priced. On a side note: Someone complained to me about their Groupon purchase not being deducted from final check,so Id try and stay on top of that if you use it.

I visit this place at least once a week to attend the weekly Ambit Energy meetings. While there I make sure to have a few drinks and a meal. The happy hours prices are great and the food tastes amazing. So far everything I have ordered have been delicious.

This place is great, the food is fantastic! Most italian restaurants dont make their own fresh pasta any more, and you can tell they do at Marisas. The drinks were also spectacular, the bar manager was so great. I will definitely be going back
