One of my favorite places. I go out of my way to come here before getting on the train. The coffee is excellent. The bread is fantastic. I am not sure that all the options available every day, but if you see the fig and walnut, buy it no matter what. The bread is quite substantial and you may not want to eat much of it at one sitting, but slice it and freeze it and then you can have it any time. The pastries are similarly terrific, made with a very buttery dough. Im especially fond of the multi grain croissant which is not, obviously, the traditional choice but the nutty taste added to the croissant dough is fabulous.

This is a new cafe in the lobby of the G building, separate from G Pub and the rooftop. The pastry chef from Garde and G Pub makes all of the pastries in house, including their own bagels! I had a mini quiche ($2) and the texture was rich, smooth, and custardy the way a true French quiche should be. They also offer some fun goodies like smores macarons and pop tarts. I also had a delish cold brew coffee (they serve Equal Exchange). Between the G building, The Arcade, and The Dean Hotel, I think its cool that Providence has a few of these one-stop, multi-use buildings to eat, sleep, and play. I love our city

The place is really quaint. I thoroughly enjoyed the coffee with its smooth aromatic flavour without any hint of bitterness or tartness. That being said we had ordered a latte and cappuccino, and they were made exactly the same way, a mixture that is somewhere in between and not fully one or the other. Also, the chocolate croissant I had was stale and lackluster. It lacks the buttery and flaky texture that melts in your mouth like a croissant should. I still highly recommend the cafe for its great ambiance and coffee. Just dont order their croissant.

A new fresh air of great food with the comfort and ambiance of a Starbucks vibe. I enjoy going here to do my homework in such a cozy environment which has lots of natural light. Be warned it can get crowded here for good reason. The only drawback as a driver, which is out of this establishments control, is that the you can only feed the parking meter to a max of 1 hour.... which means frequent refilling the meter if you indeed on investing hours of work. I love G Cafe.

One of the few bakery cafes around that makes genuinely high quality pastries and breads. The cafe also has a really nice assortment of sandwiches and savory items, as well as espresso drinks and tea. A bit on the expensive side, but when you consider that the cheaper options are likely made of lesser ingredients and dont taste as good, perhaps this makes sense. The setup is pretty nice two, with the seating half having great light and views to the street.

Love this place!! They make amazing soups and healthy salads along with their delicious bread !! They use quality ingredients and everything is so flavorful. If you just want to sit and work, it is a great spot after the lunch crowd. It is one of my favorite spots in Branford!

The sandwiches are a bit empty and the bread cut my mouth up like some captain crunch with an attitude. For the same price walk down the street to the corner deli and get double the amount of food. The atmosphere is what you are paying for.

Went there 1 week ago for two small pretzel roll sandwiches (just turkey and cheddar), was charged $10. Went today for the same items and was told it would be $22. Talk about inflation!

The coffee here has gotten better in recent months, but still needs a little work. A nice place to work on Saturday/Sunday morning while you have a coffee and eat breakfast.
