I visited Hartford for the first time yesterday and had two meals at Aladdin. All in all, I was very satisfied. My lunch was the koufta kabob platter. The hummus was great, the meat was tasty, if just a tad dry. and the falafel was delicious. Dinner was even better. I brought a friend with me and he enjoyed the roast beef grinder while I had the chicken schwarma on a pita. OMG! I cannot wait until I make my final move to Hartford in a few weeks. This menu item is something I am going to order the second I get off of the Amtrak train. This restaurant is also great for travellers. Take my advice, and rather than buying some fast food sub at the train station, walk a few yards to Alladin and have a meal there. They seem to have a great selection of pizza and sandwiches, and from what I could see, are a very popular pizza spot!

They provide Halal food, which is important to me as a Muslim. But their service is very poor. I have dined in once and they were okay, but their delivery service is very poor. I ordered a delivery twice: -First time, they delivered a pizza that was very cold and tasted bad. -The second time, I waited for an hour for the delivery (less than 2 miles away) and nothing arrived. When I called, I was first put on hold, then he told me to wait for another 30 minutes due to being busy. 25 minutes later, I got a call from them saying either come pick it up in an hour, or wait for its delivery in two hours!! Meanwhile, we did not make dinner relying on them coming, which did not happen and my 2-year-old kid got very hungry.

This restaurant is a favorite of mine when I want quality fast food with an ethnic flair. I havent tried the non-middle eastern foods (I can recommend better pub-fare places nearby) but the pizza is top-notch NY thin crust. The three stand-out items are the Chicken Shawarma, Falafel and Hummus, I dream about these at night. The chicken is cooking on a spit that you cant miss walking in, and their homemade hummus is addictive and blows away anything I can find in a store (eat it Sabra). For a unique combination, get a cheese pizza and spread their hummus on each slice as you go.

Great Mediterranean food! I dont normally write reviews, however this time I couldnt resist. The koufta and the falafel were fantastically delicious! As well as the hummus and baba ganouj. The prices are very reasonable when considering the portions. The atmosphere was nice and clean and the service was super friendly! I will be coming back again and again and telling everyone I know about how good Aladdin Halal Pizzeria is. Thanks for a great dining experience! I hope you guys continue to thrive so we can keep enjoying for a long time to come! Yum!

Thinking of ordering from here because its less than a mile from your hotel? Dont... We ordered four "Grinders" and fries. The person who took our order was difficult to understand. So I called back to confirm the order. After a one hour wait I decided to call them. A person we had not spoke with before did not know about the order. I hear him over the phone talking to the person who did take my order and then they hung up the phone. I ordered the food around 8:00 P.M. on Friday. Im glad I didnt give them my credit card number.

Horrible Service! Cold food when delivered, even if you live right down the street. I understand Warm food for delivery, but I do mean Cold. I feel like I get ripped off each time. Going in isnt any better, some how I called ahead and went to pick up and still got cold pizza. Yeah get the hummus and Falafel, becuase that seems like the only thing they can do. That and look at you stupid when you ask a question or give you attitude even when you are trying to tip them, seriously!

we paid $1.50 for extra meat on each grinder. not to mention its monday at 3:00pm which means it is not busy and it took over an hour to deliver. Then when we got our food and found there was not extra meat, we called, and the chef lied and said they put extra meat. i got a steak and cheese and the meat was stacked a quarter of an inch high....i use to order 3 times a week from them...what awful management. thank god i am a business management major in college.

Extremely poor customer service. When i called up restaurant regarding my order,person who received my call was very rude to me and without even responding he cut the phone. I called almost 4-5 times and he did not respond. I ordered from this restaurant earlier too but the food was delivered almost after 2 hrs and it was too cold. If you are planning to order from here,think for another option or be ready to wait for couple of hours.

Order takeout for my co-worker and I.I threw my food away.. My co-worker did the same. We both had falafel pita and found hair in our food.. My co-worker picked up the food and saw an employee use their bare hands (no gloves) to prepare a plate that included salad and pita bread for the hummus.. The employee that prepared the plate was sweating profusely.. Never eating here again!

Absolutely horrible service, the white guy with beard & moustache behind the counter talks to you with an attitude as if he is doing you a favor by taking your order. I dont know what he thinks of himself, he needs to get a life and some other job! A perfect example of the type of people who are bringing this country down, wretched personality and no manners!

Friendly guy at the counter. Although there is a slight meaty smell in the air here, the food tastes great and the vibe is good. The prices are also decent enough and the food is plentiful in quantity. Sometimes you might have an issue talking with the counter guy of you are not American, as he himself is not from around here.

Awesome late night option with a decent selection of offerings. There people watching here is also second to none as its sandwiched by two bars, so be prepared for the late night crowd; even with the drunk kids from next door, its worth waiting for take out, and delivery in Hartford is available.

I have ordered the pizza from alot of pizza shop. But this time I ordered for my family thar was really nasty. And they charged you so much. If you eat this pizza you will feel like eating just breat. I have heard from 20 friend that they have complained from Aladdin pizza.

I stop there for lunch occasionally, always take out. Staff always seems busy but are friendly and have never been anything but polite to me. I typically get the Chicken Shawarma sub which is always good and usually excellent. Have never had a bad experience here.

Just ordered delivery from the Berlin location; it’s amazing. Some of the best hummus, baba ganouj, falafel, and chicken kabob I’ve ever had. Everything was fresh, cooked to perfection, and the prices VERY reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Pretty great food. Its a little wonder in the middle of Hartford. The meatlovers pizza is to-die-for! Tabbouleh and a meat pie and were good. The dessert options can be a bit more varied, but overall, havent found anything as good in Hartford county.
