Had a delicious early dinner. We were rushing to make an event, but had delicious bowls of soup, each served with Driftwood Diners "cheese fingers," a perfectly toasted grilled cheese sandwich cut in perfect strips for dunking. The creamy tomato soup, which has no cream according to the menu, was some of the best tomato soup Ive ever had. Bright, tomato flavor, balanced with a richness akin to that provided by cream. I should have asked what was in it, but I was too busy enjoying it! There was a float of basil oil on top that was a perfect complement to the soup. The BF had lime chicken tortilla soup that was deliciously seasoned with tomato, chile and spices and packed with corn and shredded chicken. Wait staff was friendly and accommodating, getting us out the door as quickly as we needed. All in all, a great stop and a pleasant place. Well go back when we have more time to sample the rest of the menu.

This place is small and getting more and more popular. Sunday seems to be the most popular day. The parking lot is small, but on Sundays you can park at the HSBC next door. The breakfast food is pretty good. The service is good, for the most part. I hope to be back soon to try other breakfast options and lunch/dinner.

Very interesting concept, basically diner food but upscale and in a nice environment. They do a fantastic job, the menu is somewhat limited but the food they do have is great. Nicely decorated interior, friendly staff, and convenient location. Definitely will come back here.

Upscale diner without upscale prices. My wife and I had breakfast at the Driftwood Diner this morning. We were surprised how good the food was. The food was well prepared and nicely presented. Highly recommend.

Stopped by on our drive down 95 to grab lunch, but avoid fast food. Found this conveniently located eatery. What a find! Very cute, friendly staff and most importantly the food was delicious!

Clean, nice atmosphere. Food served relatively quick, as the dining room was not that busy. Food was good, not greasy.

More fancy and possibly healthier/lighter diner food, with a much more simplified selection.
