First of all, I just want to say that I love this place and I think they really take pride in their unique flavors and making great (but slightly over priced) ice cream. I give it only four stars though because of my first sub par experience I had today. I came in around 2:30, where it wasnt super busy but it was steady. My boyfriend and I saw that they had a new shake called "the Jake" and I dont know if we are missing a movie reference here or something, but we assumed it was just a bigger milkshake since it was so much more expensive. We decided, while thinking it was going to be big, to get that and share it. We told that to the person that it was for us to share, and then when she eventually gave it to us, I was SO DISSAPOINTED. It was the size of a "not-so-big" shake with some whip cream, chocolate sauce, and some marshmallow pieces. Like what the heck? How were we supposed to know that? This may seem like a bit of an overreaction, but I am serious about my ice cream and I just wanted a BIG plain ole cookies n cream shake. I think making a milkshake with a few added things and not even explaining what it is on the board is just a dumb idea. I also may just point out that the employees were not as observant and helpful as they usually are. The girl who gave us the milkshake did not give us an extra straw, and it took me 2 minutes to just get another employee to give me one because every one of them were in their own world - there was one not even working and just talking to her friends the entire time. In the end, the milkshake was fine, but the added features just made it too sugary and left me dissapointed. I know that most of the employees there are observant and kind, but not today.

Everything about this ice cream shop has my family HOOKED! Firstly, the people are ALWAYS nice. I guess that it because its so much fun to work in an ice cream joint, especially Sweet Cow! Secondly, the ice cream is INCREDIBLE. We LOVE the flavors. I think that Oatmeal Cookie is a standing favorite of mine. My daughter likes the pink ice cream (with sprinkles, OF COURSE!). I feel good about bringing her here for a treat because I know their sweet concoctions are made with the real deal ingredients. No fake stuff at Sweet Cow! The decor reminds me of a 1050s soda shop, which is perfect. However, the best part is the outdoor seating. They have a fenced in area that is perfect for letting the kids run free and burn off some of the sugar! On a fun note... when my daughter and I are working on modifying a behavior... the reward is always (specifically) SWEET COW! She knows it by name, taste and experience.

Good ice cream, but somewhat limited in flavors and no gelato. Glacier in Boulder has twice as many flavors and gelato. Parents let their kids run around in the outdoor area, unsupervised, despite signs stating no running, horseplay, etc. And if you say something to the parents, they just glare at you. 3 kids ran into my wife, knocking her to the ground, and causing damage to her knee/leg. We wont be going back.

Frankly, I cant believe that this place has anything less than 5 stars total for its reviews. The ice cream here is astounding. Simply incredible. The chefs switch up the menu every day but keep a steady menu as well. There are all sorts of flavors to try. They even sell little inflatable bouncy cows for little kids. I cant speak highly enough of this place. Its a must-see for Colorado residents and visitors.

They always have at least one adult flavor on the menu that kids are not allowed to taste because hey its made with a bit of alcohol. But they also always have one cereal flavor as well! This is where you want to get your next bday cake - be sure to call 48 hours ahead of time if you want to pick the ice cream flavor your self else you end up with cookies n cream which is actually quite good too.

Great variety of scrumptious ice cream flavors. I like that they throw in some alcohol flavored ones as well. We waited in line for at least 30 minutes and it was worth it! Though the lobby is small, there is plenty of space to sit outside. Considering how busy this place is on a regular basis, I suggest they put heat lamps outside so more people can hang around during the colder months.

I broke a tooth while biting down on a pecan shell in their butter pecan ice cream! As requested from an employee who was working at the time, I left the tooth and shell piece with her... being promised to hear back from management immediately. That was three days ago... and they have yet to contact me... or to respond to an email which I sent to them about this matter.

Not sure what owner the last guy was talking about. The owner I met was nothing but nice, acted just like the wonderful employees. In fact if he hadnt told me he was the owner I would never have known! He was working just as hard as everyone else and was just as friendly. I have never had a bad experience here and RAVE about the ice cream to all my out of state friend.

Always amazing but be prepared to wait in a line out to the parking lot on the weekends because if its popularity. Good news is the staff have it down and move it along very quickly. Grapefruit sorbet is a personal favorite but its seasonal so have to catch it at the right time. Havent had a flavor I didnt like. Must get the sundae with half fudge and half caramel!

DELICIOUS ice cream and great atmosphere. There is a little grassy area with benches outside where you can enjoy your ice cream, or you can take a stroll around lovely downtown Louisville. The only problem is that the staff isnt very friendly when this place gets super busy. Definitely not rude though and I would still give this place 5 stars.

One of the best ice cream places in Boulder-Denver metro. There is always a nice selection of flavors in addition to the usual standards. Friendly staff. The line can be long, but they do a good job of keeping it moving. The location is really nice - great for meeting friendly folks and dogs and for people watching.

I absolutely LOVE this place. Ive purchased ice cream from both the building and the truck and the quality never changes. They do wonderfully creative flavors and made with the highest quality ingredients. Theres always a line out the door so make sure youre patient, its worth it. Cant beat their Cookies n Cream.

Best local made ice cream. They are always rotating through new flavors that you may not have ever thought of. They have pumpkin ice cream and candy corn ice cream. They make Ozo coffee, with beans from a local coffeehouse. They do an Avery stout ice cream, which blew my mind. It was sold out in 2 days I think.
