The owner, Jim, is a totally down to earth guy who has a love for sharing delicious cool treats with people of all ages, all types. He actually makes his creations in the back visible to guests, making crazy good flavors like Crunch Berries, Cheddar goldfish (surprisingly Bomb), and Dirty Cookies and cream. For you adults who love scoops, he even made a White Russian ice cream that would be Lebowski approved! My personal favorite is the Andes mint and Nutella in a Pretzel cone (cone is crunchy with sea salt rim!). I am becoming a steadfast regular myself, going now at least once every other week and enjoy conversing with Jim every time. Thank you for killer ice cream!!!

The ice cream and water ice are homemade. Great quality and taste. The owner is from Philly. I see some one star reviews, for the guys attitude. Dont ever take that personal, if you ever have spent time in Philly you will understand, not to get hurt. I lived in Philly, so when I met the owner I felt like I was back in Philly. Philly people are no nonsense and to the point.Denver overall is a better place to live but this guy has brought a part of Philly that will beat Denver any day. The food and ice cream/water ice win hands down. To top it off the guy made me a gilati which isnt even on the menu, or maybe I didnt see it. Great place.

The ice cream flavor selection is weird (most of it is cereal flavors) but it tastes good and you can sample a variety first. I really liked the maple flavor he had when I was there. The place really seems to stand for what it believes in and I appreciate that. Also enjoyed the music selection while I was eating. The guy behind the counter (the owner, I think) was very direct and to-the-point, so if youre like me and you talk too much, you might annoy him, but it didnt seem to affect his professionalism. There are ice cream sandwiches made with pop tarts? I didnt try one but I found the idea kind of fascinating.

The ice cream and waffle cone were great! I had a double scoop with coffee and peanut butter puffs. The flavors were both very flavorful and authentic - they didnt taste processed. The ice cream didnt melt as I walked around in 80 degree weather, or maybe it was just so good I ate it quickly. The case was full of really interesting and fun flavors, I had a hard time deciding. I tried the Philly water ice and will come back on a hot day for a cup. The water ice was very flavorful and refreshing but wasnt too sweet. Ill definitely be back!

I would normally say this place is good, but in my recent visit, I bought a pint of the Strawberry Shortcake Rolls flavor and found a long blond hair in my cup. I returned only to have the staff have trouble believing me. I understand that these instances very rarely happen, but the fact that they did not seem the least bit apologetic or understanding was frustrating and embarrassing. Poor customer service and might need to review their sanitary practices.

Simply amazing. You have to try the "dirty cookies and cream" and then every other flavor. You wont be disappointed. Any 1 star reviews must be from lactose intolerant people but even then they have Philly water ice which is delicious. Stop reading reviews and go find out for yourself, youll be happy you did.

Store ambience is just ok ok. The ice cream is good enough but its not worth going again and again, we just went as we have groupon coupons or else this place will be a big no for us as the store seems no good inside and guy at store was in his own world and did not even acknowledge us when we stepped in.

Traveled to Denver from Cincinnati. On the last night we stopped by this ice cream shop and it was so great that we decided to come back before our flight. Amazing and unique flavors amongst various combinations of pop tarts and voodoo doughnuts. Highly recommended for out of towners.

Their ice cream is all from scratch!!! They have different flavors than the average ice cream shop. I personally got the "clean cookies and cream and it was amazing. Not to mention that the scoop is a generous portion and really cheap! Its definitely worth trying lol

Easily my favorite ice cream shop in Denver. Nice selection of rotating flavors meant to appease your pre-adolescent selfs affinity for sugary treats (pro tip: dont be a weenie, try the Goldfish!) and a nice injection of east coast interior decorating on Colfax.

Unique ice cream flavors in a hipster vibe. The flavors dont always taste spot on with their names, but its still good. The service was good and even gave me a water when I asked. They had ice cream sandwiches using pop tarts instead of cookies which was cool.

Love it. One man ice cream shop. All small batch flavors. He has done every pop tart at some point in time. Very Philly vibe as well, if that rubs you the right/wrong way. He has water ices now, but I believe hes phasing them out. Cant recommend it enough!

Good ice cream. Pop-tart ice cream sandwiches are their unique touch to a small ice cream shop. We went in the middle of the week around 3 and the man who helped us wasnt very friendly. But the ice cream was worth it. So Id probably go back.

Yes, this is a great place to go for the experience of getting ice cream. The counter is usually staffed by just an awesome person who does not get stressed out about 8 people in line behind you.... usually. Cool local company....support!

Work across the street , love the ice cream. Always new flavors with a few staple favorites . I usually get the shakes .. but when he dropped the homemade ice sandwich awhile back , I pretty much stick to those. 3 or 4 bucks .

Best Cookies & Cream, hands down. The Andes mint was really tasty too. Seemed like they had some other great cereal flavors as well and I really liked the decor of pictures of ice cream eating, haha. If Im on Colfax, Ill be back.

Owner was extremely nice and friendly. The flavours offered were unique in some case. I tried the crunch berries and it was spot on. Loved the toffee and the two others with me thought their choices were great also.

This place is totally cool! Great ice cream and fantastic atmosphere. I recommend the Nutella ice cream and the Stout ice cream. Also they make poptart ice cream sandwiches and they are so flipping good!
