I dont think this has ever been a fantastic place to eat, but the in-laws occasionally want to go, so we go. However after tonight, I think were finished for good. The first red flag was that there was 3 tables around us with un-cleared food. It was there when we got there, and after our ordeal and over an hour, they still hadnt been touched. There were plenty of small things, like no drink refills and dirty silverware and asking for a Sr. menu and it taking 15 minutes to find one and then not being able to order from it because it was a few minutes after 6pm. But the biggest issue was that my husband ordered a skillet and asked for red chili instead of green chili because of an allergy. They brought him a skillet with green. He got the servers attention and let him know, he took the skillet back to have it remade. It came back and was the same skillet, but with red chili just on top of the previous skillet. He didnt realize this until he had eaten a bite and ended up having to have allergy med. He was okay since it was such a small amount luckily. But we still got the managers attention and explained to him, he seemed completely inexperienced as a manager. He left for about 15 minutes, came back and said we were wrong and the cook said he didnt put green on it, but hed remake the meal. We even went made sure the manager knew we werent blaming the server for the issue. But after that it was like the server just literally quit working and cared less about serving us, if that was possible. He never came back except right after his manager to tell us we could have free pie if we wanted since the meal went badly. However, he never came back at all. Finally we just got up to pay and leave. Just frustrating treatment after trying to be understanding and laid back in the situation and there was no care from the management or server at all. That was just the worst. Sadly everyone else at the table got cold food and it was just a bad bad experience. Definitely will not being going back to this location.

Ok so me and my Grandma visited your 3160 S. Wadsworth Blvd. Lakewood, CO 80227 store on Saturday and received some of the worse service I have ever had in restaurant. I would like to file a complaint against the manager on duty and the waitstaff. We got there at one and sat down right away. Ordered are drinks and sat there. We chatted a little bit. Then we put are order in. We sat waited 30 minutes for are food. We were a couple of a handful of people there. It should not have taken 30 minutes. By the time we got are food it was cold so called over a manger. He sent the food back for a remakes. At the same time my grandma ordered a water and did not get it. She asked three times each for one from both the manager and waiter before she revived a glass of water. I mean how many times do you have to ask for water. Just once by my count. So by the time we got our food back it was still wrong. Last I checked a California skillet is suppose to have bacon. By that point I was to hungry to send it back. Your manager there has done little to impress me in to returning to there and I love village inn.Oh might I add that when we got are food it tasted like it was microwaved instead of fresh. Poor management = you dont care for your customers.

The worst service EVER had to wait for 20 minutes while there was 10 tables available then when I complained the lady was rude af Im a put her on blast Jess the fat one with glasses rude lady she replied when I asked about the reason why your not seating anyone when there more ten tables available she said rudely that how corporate wants it witch I have never heard this and I have ate here several times never heard of it she then told a another lady that had a party of seven that she looking for space for them and as soon as they got it shell be seated and then the space that they told her she was getting they seated someone else there with a smaller party there seem to be picking and choosing who they want to feed is why theyre not seating people even seen a few new people come in and put there names down and asked for the wait time and energy up getting seating over the other partys that have been waiting.. this was by far the worst experience I have ever had here idk if Jess is a manager but she sure acts like it and she definitely does not know what she doing it really is true not everyone is capable of running a store let alone working for someone definitely getting corporates number and complaining THANK YOU JESS LMAO

Well... as sad as I am to feel I need to write this review, I feel I must... Something, not sure what happened to this location. The service was EXCELLENT and the food was so tasty all up until recently. The food has gone downhill the service is not anywhere where it used to be. We went there last night for dinner 9/12/2014 and WOW!! all time low for this location. We arrived and were seated promptly and a few in the restaurant but not what you would consider busy. We waited for our server for a good 30 min... we were about ready to just leave... when she showed up. As folks were leaving, no tables were bused and the floor had trash on it. So, the food was really bad ... pancakes were hard but we were hungry and had our G-kids with us as well that we ate and STILL no bused tables and no cleaning and there was probably 3 tables that just sat there. SMH. I am unsure that I will want to come back, as the last few visits werent near dirty as last night but the food has been steadily going downhill as well. I hope you managers read these, and CARE what old time patrons say... because your about to lose one soon if we have to endure that EVER again.

We have been here twice. The first time was okay. Apparently most of the staff had not shown up that morning so the server was alone and they ran out of a few things...no biggie, we understood and she was sweet. The second time was earlier today. We decided to pick our order up...BAD IDEA. The order couldnt have been more wrong and half of it was missing. I told them about the issues and they never took ownership...just made excuses. All I wanted was the food I ordered...especially since I paid extra for some "upgrades" and to add a side (which I never got, by the way). The meal was supposed to come with hash browns and when I brought it up, the lady said "Oh, they should come with it I think...I wasnt sure if you wanted them" like what? She was very incompetent both on the phone to order and while I was trying to fix my order. She was also very slow...a line began to form with people trying to pay and leave while they attempted to "fix" my now cold and stale order. It was embarrassing. No apologies or anything from anyone...please get a better team for this location!!!
